Dr Atkinson is a very nice person, but not a very attentive Dr. we have been waiting more than a week for her to return our call. We are in a very precarious position and need some medical guidance. Also, her staff is rude, very unfriendly, and not at all compassionate.

Front desk will make you dread your next visit. Poor patient care- not even a hi when you walk in or are polite when they talk to you. Doctor is great but the staff not so much

she does not take enough time to listen,she never follows up,Ive been hanging for a week to hear from her, and it took her PA to admit me in the hospital . I believe the practice is overwhelemed .

This doctor is AWFUL. I moved here from the suburbs of Philadelphia. I was used to excellent caring doctors. She told me right up, I must come once a month (note, I have no medical issues). She also told the clerk to bill my insurance for a full physical, she didn't touch me. She lectured me on the opioid crisis in Florida, had nothing to do with me. I am sorry I didn't report her to a higher agency.

Dr Maria Atkinson placed my life at great risk because as my primary doctor she refused to request authorization from Freedom Health. She had received a serious report on my condition, my heart was operating at 13%, one completely blocked vessel and the one called the widow maker was blocked in three separate places only producing at 25%. She said she'd consider sumbitting the authorization after 2 weeks. I was admitted to the hospital Emergency room three days later, 4 way bypass operation.
