Sad to hear he is retiring. I appreciated his Air Force experience and understanding the impact of the USAF using PRK to correct my vision

I had a few questions about the cataract surgery he recommended but he said he did not have time to answer them as he had a waiting room full of patients. I don't have time for people who are going to screw with my eyesight and can't answer a few simple questions. Turns out I went to a different doctor who after my research put in much more superior lenses then recommended by Jank.

Lousy doctor. It was my first time at Ocala Eye. While the staff was competent and the start of the visit was smooth, Dr. Jank came in at the end and ruined the whole experience. This doctor did not even give me eye contact. I felt rushed, belittled, and treated like a child. He did not listen to me and never discussed any treatment options with me. His staff appeared more knowledgeable with better “bedside manner,” which proves that level of education does not guarantee class. I left there upset, but decided to stay with the practice and immediately requested another doctor because overall, my visit with the techs went very well. I read from other reviews that he is retiring. Thank goodness because he is checked out and should not be allowed to tear down any more patients the way he did with me.

I don’t ever want to see this doctor again. This was my first time at Ocala Eye and I felt belittled, treated like a child, rushed by Dr. Jank and he didn’t even give me eye contact. He never bothered to listen to me and didn’t even give me a treatment option for my situation. Because the staff there was competent and the office environment friendly, I am staying with the practice and will be seeing another doctor. I left there really upset because of Dr. Jank’s treatment of me. No one should be treated like that by someone you think is qualified to deliver care and trust with your vision. The Techs appeared more knowledgeable and have better “bedside manner” than Dr. Jank, which proves that level of education does not teach class. The start of my visit went so smooth and well overall until Dr. Jank came in and ruined the experience.

Does not take the time to answer questions. Felt rushed and not enough information to make a decision as important as ones eye sight. Will ask to see another doctor at this practice, tech people were very nice and thorough, or probably go somewhere else.

The office staff and medical staff have been great through office visits and two surgical visits. They have been informative and helpful in all aspects of the procedures. Dr. Jank is very professional yet personable. His concern about your eye health is genuine as is his concern for your recovery. Both surgeries have been very successful and my vision is great. I would strongly recommend Dr. Jank to anyone needing cataract surgery.

Thank you Dr. Jank for your professionalism and expertise before, during, and after my mother's cataract surgery. She is so excited to be rid of the cataracts and now sees 20/15. She's bragging that she has the eyes of a teenager now. Thank you. thank you, thank you!!!

He performed my cataract/lens replacement surgery. Wonderful experience with Dr. Jank and his staff. I would recommend Dr. Jank any one needing eye surgery!! He is 5-star all the way!!
