I’ve been suffering for months only to be told there is nothing wrong. The pain got so severe, I went to the hospital. The hospital diagnosed me correctly. This happened twice. I was always completely honest with Dr. Monical but he never believed me. I have gladly moved on to a more proficient doctor that cares about my well being.

My wife and I moved to Ocala Florida from Wisconsin in June 2017. We are retired and now live in a 55 over community. Needing a new family doctor our neighbors recommended Dr. Mark Monical. After our very first visit we knew we had made the right decision. Dr. Monical and his Staff were very interested in our health needs and concerns. He reviewed our previous records and has continued with our care. A personal thank you to Donna for going way beyond the norm and helping resolve any paper issues! Dr M takes the extra step to check on symptoms and is persuasive in getting you to do what is necessary even when you are a reluctant patient! He shows a genuine interest - just what I wanted from my doc ;)

Dr Monical is a highly knowledgeable physician who readily uses every resource at his command to diagnose and treat you. He is compassionate and generous with his time, really listening to you and following up on every complaint. This is fine if you have insurance, but if you don't, I would look elsewhere for medical care. I'm sure he has no control over this, working in a large clinic, but one visit for my son who had no insurance cost more than I and my insurance company had paid for a dozen such visits. Needless to say, my son could not obtain the thousands of dollars in testing Dr Monical recommended, and I ended up buying him some health insurance on my own dime. It's worth it just for the enormous amount of money they 'write off' when you are insured, even with a high 'deductable'.

My husband and I recently moved to Florida, we were very happy with the Doctor. The staff was also very nice. The doctor was very helpful in answering a few of the questions that we were concerned with.
