MIchelle Hornstein's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Hornstein is actually a great doctor. She is not the problem. The problem is who she has running her office. Rude, uncaring, snotty women named Ruby and now Jaclyn... giving me the run around to get the records I needed before traveling to Europe that I was told would be waiting for me at the front desk. Went in to sign the release, went in to get the records... nope. Jaclyn at the window (sorry we don't do that here). I have gotten my records before... nope! Called and spoke with Lana who told me not once but twice that Dr. Hornstein told her to get the records printed. She went against her own doctor's orders refusing to give me what I requested. Then told me there was no office manager when I asked to speak with one. (Another lie). After wasting 45 minutes of my time that I did not have, I finally got my records along with a snotty attitude, muttering under her breath, heavy sighs, rolling of the eyes. Please Dr. Hornstein, stop letting these women butcher your practice!

I only gave 2 stars because Dr. Hornstein herself is actually awesome and I really like her. The problem is her staff. She used have this horrible woman Ruby running her office who literally put me through hell to get any cooperation. Now she has an even ruder, mouthy, unhelpful, snotty office person in her TimberRidge office names Jaclyn. I was told twice by another associate that I could pick up my records after signing a release form. I waited and was then told not once but twice after going in that Jaclyn refused and would not print what I needed before leaving on a 9 month trip to Europe. I had to call the first person back, escalate a complaint (after Jaclyn said there is no office manager) another lie. Please Dr. Hornstein quit letting these rude, incompetent women ruin your practice. They are the ones dealing with your patients on the phone and in person and have control. It is apparent I am not the only patient who has these concerns. I would give you 5 stars and have in the past but now I cannot. Today what I was put through cost me much needed time and aggravation that I simply didn't have to give. These women are going to ruin your practice. Find better people.

Will not look you in the eye, rude and uncaring. Spent whole appointment explaining her need to satisfy the insurance company. Beware this doctor does not care about the patient

We are new to Ocala. Very happy to find such a nice Doctor.. She took her time with both my husband and myself.

It's hard to explain. It's like she's from another planet. She may be a good doctor, but it's hard to get past all the rudeness and indifference. That same attitude carries over to all but one of the office staff.

Dr Hornstein is great. I never had any issues with her office. She takes time to explain things and I have always be pleased with her service.

Refused to see my husband when he was late for his appointment and he was late because the office changed locations and did not notify him (I have all emails and text messaging and none showed a change of address.). He stayed there for hours, even saw the doctor standing around when he went back to use the restroom while the entire waiting room was empty! They were not kind, no empathy shown, simply did not care about his situation. He was there to be seen for a medical clearance for surgery the next week and they simply didn't care to work him into their relaxed schedule. Not the care we would like from our primary care doctor so, we will be looking for a doctor with more personal concern. I tried to give zero stars but that was not an option.

Asked nurse about Flu shot and was completely blown off. The "Doctor" is no better, without a doubt the worst healthcare provider I have ever met. This doctor has moved locations three times in the last three months. Do not waste your time or your healthcare dollars on this inept DO posing as a Doctor.

I made a new patient appointment with Dr Hornstein and waited 2 weeks for the appointment. I went the day before to obtain paper work and took it in completed the day of appointment, which I arrived 15 minutes early. Nearly 1 hour, after my scheduled appointment, I was still waiting. If the waiting room was full, I would have understood. The only people in there was a lady who had the same time, as I did and a lady who had also waited, but rescheduled. The only people I saw go in, were what appeared to be sales people. I want up to the desk to state that I was going to find a new doctor and that this was very unprofessional. She said just one minute, went in back, but after a few minutes, I just left. The front office staff is very pleasant and professional. However, a doctor who will keep a patient waiting more than an hour after appointment time, is not professional. I needed new scripts, but just tired of waiting.
