List of Myeong W Kang's Reviews
I've been with Dr.Kang for 9 years and l am very happy with him, he is a wonderful ,best Dr. He saved my life, and always very easy to talk to.lm very blessed to have Dr.Kang in my life. His staff is very helpful and careing.
Very disappointing. The office staff is nothing but a lazy and careless bunch.
I have an appointment tomorrow at 10.45AM. How can I get the forms to fill out rather than coming to the office to fill them out
I am very satisfied with Dr Kang service.
He needs to listen to people that are assisting with the patient and consider what's being said, for the patient will not always tell the truth especially the elderly. If a suggestion is made, perhaps consider it before jumping to a "medical text book" conclusion. More hands on and less on a laptop. I was there with a family member who relies on this Doctor...I guess I should also mention that I have a private practice in Alternative Medicine.
The pt fell in his home two nights in a row and laid on the floor all night until a neighbor found him and called 911. He was transported to an ER the second fall where they looked for fractures and discharged him. The PT was very confused and lives alone. He should have been hospitalized for sudden onset of delirium. The next day he was seen by Dr Kang. He did not touch or exam the pt. He just asked questions and typed on his computer. He had his nurse draw blood for testing and ordered an antibiotic. And he also sent the ot home knowing he lived alone and that he was delusional. The pt should have been hospitalized for a work up on sudden onset delusion and two falls. The delusions became much worse after the second fall. Dr Chang did not want any history or input accept from the pt that was not capable of giving his history. I would not recommend Dr Kang to anyone.
Very compassionate.
After my four back operations and 12 years using Oxycodone 10-325 three times a day for chronic pain, Dr. Kang advised—the day I was supposed to pick up my monthly prescription—that he would no longer prescribe (Support staff had advised me the evening before that my prescription would be ready for pickup). I was told that the reason Dr. Kang would not fill my prescription was because I had been in an auto accident the previous month (I was a passenger) and lawyers were involved. Apparently, he didn’t want to be bothered with any resulting paperwork. In making his decision, Dr. Kang didn’t appear to consider my resulting pain or that it can be very dangerous or deadly for a patient to discontinue taking Oxycodone “cold turkey”. Moreover, Dr. Kang was very condescending and arrogant towards my wife—misogynistic traits that I see are mentioned by other reviewers. There must be a degree of trust between patient and doctor, particularly when opioids are involved. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. P.S. After this review was originally posted, I received a call from a pain management center in Ocala advising that Dr. Kang had subsequently forwarded my medical records along with a referral. This was done without my prior knowledge.
Dr. Kang treats 6 members of our family. Always receiving personal care and interest in our welfare. Personal phone calls with results from tests and friendly dedicated staff .

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
