Dr Patel had been life changing! He is hands down the best doctor I've had in year's. He has excellent bed side manners and will explain all the available options then he expresses why he would chose the best option and his assistant is amazing as well a very kind. When I'm in there hands I feel totally comfortable. Now after finding the good doctor not only does he treat me but he also treats my mom and dad as well as my wife is treated by him. If you need a great listener who will explain the facts and then provide great options to achieve your desire outcome this is the doctor you need! Joshua & Tabitha

I spoke with Dr. Patel this morning through the MDLive platform due to sudden development of pain in my jaw and behind my ear. I had just become a reduction-in-force employee and was on the last day of active insurance when this happened suddenly. I, like many others, am use to being treated like a common part on an assembly line so my heart was warmed and filled with joy when Dr. Patel treated me like a human being and asked me to keep him updated about my condition if it did not improve. He asked many questions and when I did not understand, he patiently guided me until I understood and could provide what he needed to make a diagnosis. His attitude should be one shared by ALL in the medical profession but sadly it is not. Don't lose your spark, Dr. Patel. The medical world and patients need to see and experience your bedside manner, kindness, patience and wisdom during times of health struggle. Thank you for serving others in this profession. Staff is rude and less than accommodating.

Very and courteous staff. Nice and clean, waiting time is less than 10 minutes!

Our whole family goes to Dr Patel over the last 15 years since we move from Saint Lucia to ocala and fully satisfied with his service and we had incident where we were overseas and my daughter fell sick and he was in close contact overseas with her doctors there so I would highly recommend him for family physician

Dr Patel is definitely not qualified to assume the responsibility of being my primary care physician. He demonstrated disinterest, ineptitude and indifference which in my opinion makes him unreliable and incompetent. He does not listen to his patients and shows a level of egocentric arrogance. During my appointment he didn’t make eye contact and did not read my documented medical history which I supplied for him. Instead he was focused on his computer and answering phone calls on his cellular repeatedly interrupting the flow of the appointment and derailing from it. Not once did he asked a question pertinent to my medical history. Having not met my expectations I will therefore fire him as my primary care physician and continue engaging in my search. His staff however is very friendly and willing to assist the patient but are not reliable when it comes to responding to patient requests and calls making it necessary for the patient to continue calling in order to to remind them of important issues at hand and they also sometimes commit mistakes on scheduling or other issues.

We’ve been going to Dr. Raj Patel for a year now. The office staff is warm and caring. The environment is clean and welcoming. The waiting time in the lobby is normal, unless he has had an emergency. But what doctor does not ? Dr. Patel cares for 3 of us - 86, 83 and 72 - each of us with our own needs and conditions, especially my aunt who is older and more frail healthwise. We have zero complaints about our managed care through Freedom Health.

Dr Patel agreed to see me at the end of the day as a new patient due to a request from another medical urgent in the area which was unable to provide an evaluation. Every member of his team was friendly and efficient. Dr Patel listens, explains well and assists in providing full care and follow up. Excellent!

Not very thorough. Was not impressed at all. After second visit decided to get a new doctor. The reason I gave stars was for office staff. They are very nice.

Patel had patients at 9am yet couldn't bother to get to work until 9:30 then I explained to the nurse I've been having chest pain and migraines for the last few weeks every day. She types in the notes he comes in checks my lungs and send med. Refills and say ok see ya .. nothing about my headache or chest pain really ..not the 1st time this happed Even the staff complaines about him
