I entered the hospital for what I thought was a routine surgery on my carotid artery. While there I had a heart attack and it was determined I needed open heart surgery with 5 bypasses. Dr. Kwon was the surgeon for all of my procedures.I want to tell you what an awesome person Dr. Kwon is. She is not just an exceptionally gifted surgeon, but also a wonderful person who really cares about her patients' spiritual, emotional and spiritual health. Follow up was uncommonly good, not only for me but also for my wife. They kept her informed every step of the way; she felt like she was an important part of the team. Dr. Kwon and her team are remarkable.

Dr. Kwon was nothing short of a miracle worker. She not only rescued my father from the brink of death but, in doing so, extended my precious moments with him. My father's heart was severely compromised, functioning at a mere 20%, and finding a doctor willing to take on his case was far from guaranteed.Then, like a guardian angel, Dr. Kwon entered our lives. She exuded confidence as she agreed to tackle my father's complex situation. The surgery was a daunting one, involving the replacement of his aorta valve and multiple bypasses.Dr. Kwon, an angel in disguise, not only saved my father's life but also offered unwavering support to me, his daughter, as we adjusted to our new reality. Her compassionate care extended beyond the operating room, and her bedside manner was unlike any I had ever encountered in a doctor. Dr. Kwon has etched a permanent place in my heart, and I will forever be grateful for her remarkable intervention.

Quíntuple bypass on my almost 80 yr old grandma! Where to I begin? Dr.Kwon is amazing from the moment she entered the hospital room to speak to our family we felt an immense sense of peace we knew she was in the right hands, she took her time and explained everything to us made sure we she answered all of our questions and even took the time to come and pray with us the day before surgery, she held my grandma by the hand and said the most beautiful prayer we couldn’t help but to tear up! Her confidence, her experience, her passion, she truly cares about her patients and does this for the right reasons! Highly recommend her and btw my grandma is having an awesome recovery everyday she is better and better! 🙏🏽

Dr. Kwon took every opportunity to put me at ease regarding my quadruple bypass. She explained exactly how the surgery would be performed and what the recovery process would look like. From the ICU to the Cardiac Unit, she was there to answer any questions. That process was continued with my follow-ups. She takes the time to answer all your questions and makes sure you truly understand her responses. I do not believe I could have had a better surgeon with their hands inside my chest. Dr. Kwon has received only 5 star reviews from every patient. That says it all. I agree with all of the outstanding comments by everyone for her. She is a blessing from God. From the moment I met her I had total confidence in her. In every category I give her a perfect 5 star review. I will forever be grateful that she was my surgeon. Dr. Kwon is in a class of her own.

Dr. Kwon was very professional while at the same time very compassionate. She was very matter of fact when describing my surgery, providing detailed explanations to my questions and setting reasonable expectations for my progress. I have a great deal of confidence in her and would highly recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Kwon performed triple bypass surgery on me in late April. My recovery is going very well. I would not hesitate to recommend her to any of my friends. Would go back to her in a heartbeat but hope I do not have to. Her staff is very professional.
