Had to see this so-called doctor for a work related injury. Choski dismissed diagnosis and findings from doctors I have seen for years (multiple times each month). Choski never examined me (never touched me nor had me to do any movement). Choski spent maybe a total of five minutes with me. Choski pretended to be interested in my answers - only to find out he twisted my words to make it seem like my permanent injuries have totally healed. Q- “How are you doing?” Me- “Fine.” In Choski’s report he stated I reported to him I was “fine” and determined I am 100% able to return to work with no restrictions. Contrary to diagnostic tools (MRIs, CTs, X-Rays & EMGs) which show the degree of my injuries, Choski stated he found NO signs of any injury (probably bc he didn’t examine me in his 3-5 minutes). I realize there are workers who scam the system but Choski gives new meaning to scamming the system. This doctor will falsify his report and “findings” to favor the party who is paying him.
Was sent here for an IME for job related injury. I have had multiple surgeries (8+) and my doctors have said my injury is permanent with little chance of my spine and nerves ever healing. This quack Choski contradicted every previous doctor in his three minute evaluation (although I waited for 45 minutes in an examine room). Choski said I am able to return to work with no restrictions to a job requiring physical work. I have had numerous MRIs, CTs, EMGs showing the injury and damage. Choski must have been paid large by WC to write such a bogus report. Choski is the true definition of fraud doctor.
Pretended to be interested. Watch your words bc he will twist them. RECORD your visit if for work related injury. He NEVER performed any exam! Waited while he went in and out and then he said I was free to go. Contradicted all the other doctors.
The closet size practice in the back of the building behind an urgent care! The person that checked me in was nice and then he came in about 10 minutes later and took me into an exam room. Why I don’t know because he never actually examined me, he is very arrogant. I was in there for a long term disability IME. I am already on Social Security disability, which means the government thinks I’m disabled, or can’t find a job that would suit me with my illnesses and disabilities. the first thing he said out of his mouth, other than hello, was, I am here to prove that you aren’t disabled , he proceeded to say that if you have fibromyalgia, there’s no way to prove it I can touch you and you can say ouch then said even the issues that you may have with arthritis or bulging disc or anything Osteo related is not a permanent disability there are medication‘s for that even though he had not read my paperwork yet he planned on doing that after the visit! I was denied! Not enough room to say everyth
I am not sure who these other people that left a review saw! But I guess it’s what you’re going in there for and who’s paying you that matters! I was there to see him for an IME visit that my long-term disability company from my old job sent me to. I had no choice in the matter, of course! This man was very arrogant, very dismissive. He told me other than hello. His first sentence was, I am here to prove that you are not disabled he told me without examining me at all through the whole visit that anyone can say they have fibromyalgia or chronic pain. It can’t be proven anyone can touch someone else and they can say ouch or they can jump. He made me do a few things like walk like I was doing a DUI test and yes I was able to do it. I was very wobbly but I was able to do it. Did it cause me pain yes it caused me excruciating pain to do it. I’m not the type to show my pain , he did touch down my back and when he touched one spot I jumped and he said I haven’t even touched you. How can you jump but he did touch me and then said I will be reviewing your medical records later so he didn’t even really know why he was seeing me other than what I wrote down on this paper that was 3 miles long , I have no strength in my right or left hand and using my right hand, which is the dominant hand to right is really painful. I had surgery on my hand and it went well but did not heal well apparently or they hit a nerve but of course he’s not my doctor so he doesn’t know all of this , he said anybody can say they have migraines. Anybody can say this or that so basically I was denied and I’m not as much upset about that that I am the fact that he’s doing this to more than just me he doesn’t know what I go through on a daily basis he wasn’t interested in hearing it unfortunately. Hi I have many medical issues. On a daily basis I have 2 to 3 of those issues going on at one time if not all of them so working even a part-time job that I have specific days and times that I have to be at is not possible for me I really hope that others that are scheduled to see him. Look him up and read his reviews before they say OK and ask for another doctor I worked in the medical field from the time I was in my late 20s till I could not work no more a few years ago so I know how most of this goes but who is he to say that I am not disabled if the government considers me disabled, and I get Social Security disability That really blows my mind
Just leaving Jet Medical Center after seeing Dr. Choksi. I was injured on the job and in a boot for 2 months while going to physical therapy. I’m still unable to move my toes and explained and showed the doctor. He couldn’t care less and rather than examining my foot, released me to go back to work with no restrictions. I would have appreciated some type of examination but this doctor showed no interest in my injury. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone!!!!!!!!
This doctor examined me from a 3 ft distance and dismissed my concern. I had a diagnosis from a local APRN and was asked by employer to go to Jet Medical only to have this doctor dismiss earlier diagnosis. He recommended that I follow up with a physician and not an APRN. I saw another local doctor that confirmed the original diagnosis. After multiple co-pays, I am out of work and not covered by worker’s comp because of this doctor’s poor assessment skills. I would not recommend him.
Dr. Choksi, is very, arrogant, impersonable, and dismissive. Staff and student were not friendly. Exam room table wasn’t cleaned before they put me in there. Then the doctor does his “physical exam” and fails me because I had a previous WC injury which he feels is still active even though my assigned WC doctor and PT had discharged me! (I’m a nurse, I know what I can and can’t do, as well as proper body mechanics). Thanks for nothing doc! Still unemployed thanks to you. 2 hours of wasted time in this office.
Caching caching this is his cash cow, on WC he required weekly office visits, for what reason I am not sure, kicked me back to work within 10 days of my injury, told me I can take narcotics at work ( I drive a semi), I chose not to risk my CDL, I am not impressed with FLORIDA’s WC protections for employees, does this “doctor” know the words to the oath he took? Any good lawyers in this town?
Office staff is friendly. His PAs are thoughtful and caring. He is arrogant, impersonal and dismissive in the few minutes he actually spent in the room. Kept pushing prescriptions that I declined, then accused me of exaggerating my symptoms and seeking narcotics when I said repeatedly I was not interested in taking any pain medication, I just wanted time to rest so as to not keep aggravating my injury. I would never recommend his practice.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
