Dr Ingram is arrogant and condescending. She’s uncooperative with other doctors and is unwilling to listen to the patients inquiries or explanations. She runs a third world clinic at best

She has no time to listen to her patients to the point she’ll actually argue with them. She’s not willing to compromise or cooperate with other doctors with other options for treatment. She’s a very difficult doctor to work with and I’m sure the only reason she has any patients is because near the Villages she’s the only game in town. If you’re use to third world treatment, you’ll love her!

If you’re use to clinic settings this is the office for you. I refer to her treatment style as “third world” care. I suffer from lupus, was diagnosed 21 years ago. Among other side effect join and muscle pain is a regular standard. After 21 years my constant pain levels of 3-5 have become normal day of life. Recently I had the opportunity to try a friend’s heated hydro-therapeutic spa. After a 45 min session I was pain free for the next 12 hours. I bought one, then found out if a doctor would write a prescription stating the spa would help my condition, as temporary as it might be, I could get a 75% reduction in state sales tax. Long story short, Dr Ingram refused to issue said prescription and told me to go to my primary physician. He was more than willing to issue said prescription but need a short note to him that the spa would only offer temporary relief, which was fine with him. Once again Dr Ingram refused to provide this simple statement. This is unheard of in med community!

Dr Ingram is arrogant and self-consumed. She doesn’t listen or cooperate with her patients and is unwilling to cooperate with other physicians.

A very professional and excellent doctor. Cares for her patients and is always very charming.

I was a new patient and waited nearly six months for this appointment- I have been diagnosed and treating with the Mayo Clinic. I wanted to have a relationship locally for a Rheumatologist, I explained my whole journey, she may have looked at me 3 times while she was tapping away on the computer and telling me “bear with me” over and over. Finally after she got the facts wrong when I was asking potentially about a medication change and I got snarky, did she try and dial in; but she hadn’t heard a word I said. I felt very disconnected and insignificant- I went hoping to achieve a new doctor, and a successful path of health with my condition , to leaving feeling disappointed, not heard and with no direction. The medial assistant courtney was more attentive. I wouldn’t recommend this doctor if you are looking for a relationship and for a doctor to really treat you and not just type on the computer.

I’ve had a time with finding a rheumatologist that addresses all my concerns. First I saw Dr. Lafferty and that didn’t work at all and his office help had no bed side manner. I have three autoimmune diseases so I found another doctor. The next was Dr. Bookbinder who alluded that he didn’t believe I had 2 of my autoimmune symptoms and diseases even though one tried to end my life. My roommate suggested I go see her doctor, Dr Ingram as Dr. Bookbinder suddenly retired and kept my medical records. I made an appointment with Dr. Ingram thinking that maybe I’d catch a break and find a real doctor that was female and black like me and she refused to see me because Dr Lafferty’s assistant said they didn’t give permission to release me as a patient ! What! They sent my medical records to Bookbinder. This could have happened over the phone and gas wouldn’t have had to be used. Some unprofessional behavior and I’m pissed off and done.

Dr. Ingram works as hard as she possibly can to not hear a single thing you say during your exam. She has already decided your diagnosis before she entered the room or read anything about you. If you bring information to help Dr. Ingram, she will get mad at you and angrily refuse to read it. If you ask her to explain things in a way that's easier for you to understand, she will refuse point-blank. She does not explain her plan of care, acts like patients are wasting her time by being there, and seems primarily focused on how fast she can end the visit. Dr. Ingram is a miserable clinician who should be stopped from practicing, and SIMED is negligent in allowing her to continue to practice there.

I have been seeing Dr. Ingram for about four years. Though I have to admit she gives me the most physical exam as far as my joints are concerned. But never tells me if she has found anything that is new or changed from before. I usually have to ask 50 questions. I don’t feel I can talk freely, she interrupts me so she can continue typing on her computer.
