Best in the business. Most certainly do not deny the brilliant doctor retirement, but the medical field & patients will certainly miss him. Have fun Dr B and enjoy your much earned retirement ?

Dr. Bookbinder is creative, very intelligent, and very knowledgeable. He was familiar with things that other doctors I had seen weren’t. He drew correct conclusions in seconds, whereas many of my other doctors had struggled to grasp things and I lost years trying to get the right diagnosis and treatment. He has given me a great deal of hope for understanding and treating my conditions. I even cried a little after my appointment because the journey has been so hard. Instead of dismissing my symptoms and concerns, he listened and showed me how certain symptoms could be connected and caused by things other doctors were not exploring. Now I may experience less pain and treatments that really support me. I’m so grateful to have discovered this doctor and his office. The staff was super helpful, warm, and prompt. I left my first visit with a prescription refill I really needed, labs and an x-ray order -to confirm a hypothesis, but most importantly, I left with a better grasp of what may be going on with my body and news insight as to why my previous regimen wasn’t working, why others has misdiagnosed me, and why other tests and meds may help. I have a complicated case/history but he took it all in with focus and confidence and treated it like a genius solving a Rubix Cube. It was neat to see the wheels turning. He actually made sense of the ‘agonizing mystery’ that plagues my body. Highly recommend! In retrospect, I wish I had typed up a list/ description of ALL my symptoms, with brief notes on what did - or did not- make each of them worse or better. If I had just handed that to him at the start, i think it would have saved us some time and I suspect he would have come to the same conclusions. I’d been to lots of specialists so it takes a lot of time to go through it all; we couldn’t have even done it. Note: unbeknownst to me, there may well have been a connection between my eye problems, gastro/urinary problems, and the bone/muscle/nerve pain issues. I was seeing different specialists for all of these; and they weren’t working together and we were missing a bigger picture of body-wide inflammation. He helped make the connection we were missing. I mention this to encourage others not to refrain from mentioning those seemingly ‘insignificant, irrelevant, or ‘normal’ symptoms’ that others may have dismissed; they just might just be the key to solving your rheumatic mystery! Give him all the data that you can. I pray you won’t have to go through a long and painful journey to become properly diagnosed. I wish I had gotten to work with this doctor years ago- my life would have been so different! If you are seeking excellent care, you have come to the right place! I wish all rheumatic patients reading this to have as healthy and happy a life as possible. Don’t give up and know that you are not alone!

Okay, so...I have been trying to get help and a diagnosis for quite some time now and it' been expensive and difficult because my condition is extremely rare. Dr. Bookbinder was my 2nd Rheumatoid doctor to see in Ocala as the first one said I looked to good to be sick! GRRR. (Dr. Offenger I think?) I left there in tears ad it was a blessing I was sent on my way to find a better doctor. However, I was skeptical about Dr. Bookbinder because I read the reviews and honestly...turns out EVERYONE at this office is quite the opposite of what these negative reviews had said! The staff is actually very friendly and so kind, very personable and they put me at ease. I wouldn't even take the time to say it if it wasn't true! Dr. Bookbinder is really a smart doctor and is the most in-tune, smart doctor I have been to about my condition. My condition can take many many (up to 7 years approx. time) years to diagnose but through elimination, some testing and my symptoms he has managed to narrow it d

Dr. Bookbinder and I agreed during my initial telemed visit to continue the treatment plan I had been on when I lived up north. The proposed treatment was to be submitted to Medicare for approval and I would be contacted. After 2 weeks with no word I called his office. I was told by Michelle that she told the doctor that they no longer prescribed that and she had submitted to Medicare for approval a treatment that I had not agreed to. She was going to inform me of the change after it was approved. I called my primary doctor to ask for a different referral and she didn't even believe the doctor was overruled by his staff until she called his office and verified my story. I quickly was referred to a new specialist. Also, Dr. Bookbinder needs to learn to keep his personal opinions to himself.

Dr. Bookbinder is a great doctor he knows what he's doing been getting great care for many years trust him with my life . And he has a great sense of humor. One of his nurses Christal is so sweet always gives a smile and she cares how you're doing the rest of the staff should learn to smile. The rest of the staff need lessons on how to treat sick people .

I love dr bookbinder he’s the best he listens to you and has help me with the right medication for my slederma I’ve been doing good for the past 8 years I’ve been with him I would recommend to anyone

Dr. Bookbinder is very knowleadgable, however, his office staff (receptionist and office manager) are quite unprofessional. The office is a horror show to have necessary paperwork done and staff is rude when you attempt to follow up. The staff alone is enough to make me want to change providers. As well you never get into your appointment on time
