Went for back surgery because of constant pain, now I have constant pain AND I can barely walk. Made an appointment, presented the issue, and he blew me off. No tests, no examination, just told me that I'd always have back pain.

Dr Julian did an amazing job with my surgery. He answered all my questions before hand and I am extremely happy with him and my results. I had a microdisectomy of my left side L5-S1.

I,M NOT SURE IF WE ARE TALKING ABOUT THE SAME DR. BUT DR. JULIEN SEEMED VERY POLITE AND VERY CARING ABOUT MY PROBLEM. LET HIM KNOW HOW SCARED I WAS ABOUT THIS SURGERY AND HE WENT OVER EVERYTHING WITH ME AND CALMED ME DOWN(A LITTLE)

Buyer beware! I don't even think he deserves an MD title. He told my husband he has scoliosis and he needed to have 2 major surgeries. My husband went to him for back problems and a pain he was having down his leg. For 2 weeks, my husband was scared out of his mind. He decided to get a second opinion after his chiropractor and family doctor both did not think he has scoliosis. Long story short, no scoliosis at all, verified by 2 more second opinions. This guy is nuts, don't trust him!!

Very short wait time, office staff, nurse, pa all were great. Finally got some possible answers. Was nice to have a doc listen and review all and put things together. Maybe not the best bed side manner, but was not rude or rushed at all. He was upfront stating what he thinks is going on and this isnt his specialty but when results are in he will send me off to someone who is an exact specialist to finish my care. Was nice to leave with confidence and not maybes or hopes things get better.

Very cold demeanor, didn't seem to want to help in any way. He checked my MRI, saw there were problems but said your back will heal by itself. Go to a pain clinic and get shots and meds. I've spent years on meds and getting shots, I want a solution not a doctor to tell me to be an addict. I found another doctor and said I needed a fusion, that would help my pain. Now that's results! Not someone that doesn't care and wants to pass you off to next person.

Wow, talk about long office waits!!! 45min wait time minimum. He never reviewed my x-rays or MRI with me. Never explained expectations of the operation or post surgery issues. if I did not ask a question, it just would have been crickets. Please find another surgeon and forget this one.!
