My mom has a 10:30 appointment today, she was sick last night so I'm trying to reschedule it. I've been on hold for over an hour, no one answers the phone! There great at making appointments, but horrible after that, please use another Dr or group.
Dr. Goldstein and his associates are awesome! Highly recommend!
This was without question the worst doctor’s office experience I have ever had. The staff clearly do not care about their patients, and that attitude is impossible to ignore. I was made to feel like an inconvenience rather than someone needing medical care. My appointment on January 9th was scheduled for 11:20 AM. I was not called back until 1:35 PM. Even then, Dr. Mahmood, who was present that day, never even came in to examine my thumb. The staff removed the pins and discharged me with zero instructions or follow-up guidance. Because of this negligence, I had to see my primary care physician, who immediately identified a serious infection at the wound site. This delay in proper care has set my recovery back at least eight weeks. I have since required two additional surgeries to remove infected tissue and now must undergo IV antibiotics twice a day for six weeks before I can even proceed with the final surgery. To make matters worse, it took 38 days to receive my FMLA and short-term disability paperwork, only for me to discover that the dates were incorrect. This office caused unnecessary pain, delays, and complications that could have been avoided with basic professionalism and care. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. next time I see them will be in court.
i wouldn’t recommend going here. i had the worst experience with dr. Goldstein . didnt care about how i was feeling or the pain that im in. tried to dismiss my issues like there is nothing wrong with me. i seen him twice and both times got into a heated argument left crying with no answers to whats wrong. im forced to go here due to a work injury . but if u can choose where u can go dont go here. i would give them a zero if i could.
Going there over 10 years, brought my wife there doctor ok but scheduling staff (you have to call) is a minus 10! No personality no care and most of the time don't listen! This is the 3rd go around with them there's not gonna be a 3rd. It takes forever to get appointment so we call, we changed to a ppo plan in hopes it would speed things up. So we called today to make appointment for asap(wife hurting) can't get appointment till end of Feb. She says can't make appointment till we get a referral, when I replied we have new ppo ins so make the appt. No can't do that need approval, well make the appt and you can get it. Very direct not caring! So it's time to fine another place, you might think your #1 and have many patients but you now have 2 less! AWFUL MAYBE YOUR DRS DONT CARE EITHER!
Horrible everything!!!! Dr Tanko's bedside manner, communication, lact of compassion, not knowledgeable and his lawsuits are just a "few" reasons to stay away anyone affiliated with this office! The Dr in front of his name should not even be legal!!! Stay away!!
I don't know how to even begin to list my complaints with this institution. The number of red flags keeps going. I just filed a grievance with my healthcare provider today 10/29/2025 given the abuse I have suffered with the Orthopedics institute after a 3rd party conference call between all of us. My healthcare provider is completely in tune with me filing a lawsuit against this organization and is willing to testify to the negligence I have received from the orthopedic institute and has personally advised me to seek immediate health care at another facility. I will try to update all discrepancies and matters at the lawsuit proceeds. If your seeking medical attention I can only advise to go elsewhere!
This place is awful if I could give it 0 stars I would the surgeon’s are not the problem it’s the rest of the staff that is. If your Coming here because of chronic pain and don’t have time to wait then don’t !!!! David Downey is the worst he’s rude he makes you feel like you inconvenienced him going there. I had several test’s done and I never got my results despite calling there several times over the course of month’s my pain was so bad that I was depressed. The fact they have no customer service just answering machines, and they have the nerve to tell you not to call multiple times as it slows them down helping other people! But if they would just help you correctly the first time then nobody would have to keep calling over and over…
Long story short. Knee injury. Had cortisone injection. Reaction to the injection was not good. No way to communicate with them thru the so-called patient portal. Tried making another appointment MANY times. You just cannot reach ANYONE there. Tried to call Dr. Key's office directly but they don't answer. Their main switch board person sends me to the same individual who doesn't answer. The whole "institute" is just pitiful. I wish I could find a practitioner who treats me as I treat my own patients/clients.
Dr Goldsteins nurse is awful. Never returns phone calls, even if urgent. Never had to deal with such an uncaring nurse

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
