Thomas Croley's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Croley has a lot to learn about patient issues and care. He is not a congenial person. There are many eye physicians that are soooo much better than him!

The staff is great, always friendly and helpful. The doctor is reputed to be very good at his profession, however, he does only the minimum possible with regard to communication. I have stayed with him for many years because he is supposed to be a great doctor, but he has done nothing but make me feel frustrated for lack of knowing my condition and prognosis.

From the moment I walked in the door, the staff treated me like family. Dr. Croley did my eye surgery and my vision is perfect. I have always worn glasses and now I can see without my glasses. Thank you Dr. Croley and the staff @ Central Florida Eye Institute. I can see again!!!

He lacks empathy and the ability to effectively communicate with a patient. You can NOT speak to him and the only his staff will communicate with you. He evaluated my husband in an acute situation without ever looking at his previous treatment for the same problem. Do yourself a favor and see someone else.

I scheduled office visit to flush blocked tear duct. Dr Croley said I was just experiencing dry eyes. I was diagnosed with chronic dry eyes already 13 years ago. I was quite certain that my duct was plugged but he refused to flush and clear it. Told me to use more moisture drops every day. Charged me $120 for office visit. I went to a different eye doctor and they flushed it open. Problem of excess tearing solved. Dr Croley has bad doctor/patient manners. Uncaring and rude.

This doctor has taken Covid prevention too far. I was sent to Dr Croley by my endo. I  am a 20+ year T1D and I am also up in years and have memory issues. My wife is my caretaker and has been for years. The staff stopped us at the door and would not allow my wife to assist me. We were told that we needed a Power of Attorney or she would have to leave. I guess if you have this legal document you would not be subject to Covid. This is just an attempt for them too show me that they have the POWER. Stay away these people are crazy.

All staff in office are great very courteous and knowledgeable. Dr Croley was great and was sure my husband understood everything that was going to happen as he has some dementia and is hard of hearing.

I am so pleased to report that I had excellent care with Dr Croley and the entire staff of the Central Florida Eye Institute. From my very first visit for an consultation to my last. Everyone from the lady at the outside desk taking temperature and escorting me into the building.was so pleasant. My surgery was successful and imagine they actually give their patients a sweet little bouquet of flowers to take home with you. Highly recommend Dr Croley and his entire staff!

Staff was very nice but Dr. Croley is horrible. No side matters to patient. Had an appointment with mother today, doctor never acknowledged me when I asked question never look at me, made me feel like I asked a stupid question. Came in room for 2 minutes and mumble words and asked 2x to repeat himself because I didn't understand him. This person needs to go back to school and learn manners.

My experience with Dr. Croley's office and staff has been excellent. Everyone is very nice and helpful. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good eye doctor. Thank you for being a caring doctor.
