Terrible doctor, having been through 2 kidney transplants and experiencing good doctors, this doctor is a joke. He pretends he knows everything but is really very stupid.

My kidney function put me in a Stage 3 kidney disease according to my blood work. Dr. Chitumalla noticed I was on a certain drug for acid reflux which he thought was harmful to the kidneys. He took me off that drug and substituted another drug. My next blood work indicated that my kidney function went from 36% to 58%. Nice work Dr. Chitumalla.

Dr Chitumalla is a very good Dr. He listens to you and works with you to keep your kidneys healthy. He follows up on all your blood work and moves forward with what is found. I’m sorry that I moved to Georgia, now I start all over with a new Dr. May God Bless you and your office staff. I will miss you all. Sandra Foytik

Dr.Chitumalla is very knowledgeable and I trust his judgement. I also find him compassionate and he listens to me patiently even if i repeat the same thing over and over again. I'd definitely recommend him to my friends.

Fired me as a patient because I questioned whether he had a financial interest in DaVita Dialysis Center in the same building with his office. He was pushing dialysis the last 2 visits and my kidneys are improving. He had a handful of papers that he literally threw on the exam table and acted like a 2-year-old having a tantrum. Just because he has an MD degree does not negate the fact that I deserve respect and answers to my questions.

Acted like a 2-year-old, yelling when he came in and throwing papers around. Wife asked if he was part-owner of DaVita Kidney Dialysis Center next door since he had been pushing dialysis my last 2 visits and he got angry and was very hostile and childish. He needs to grow up. He fired me as a patient. No problem, lots of other doctors out there.
