List of Vipcare Ocala Canopy Oaks's Reviews
Been going to Dr Kachelman for a couple of years now. The care I have been receiving has been excellent! Everyone from Dr Kachelman and his entire staff has been caring and very responsive to my needs. I highly recommend this practive.
Moved to Ocala about a year ago not realizing how difficult it was to leave your doctor back home you had over 25 years. I’m happy to say I found Vipcare at Canopy Oaks!! Had my first appointment with Dr. K in January (sorta like a meet & greet) going over medical history and care moving forward. He was professional, caring and listened to all your concerns!! The staff was amazing and professional!! Nurse Dee was awesome!! Just had my second appointment with him today to discuss all labs and tests that were done. My husband and I are happy we found him!! We’ll be sticking around for awhile!!!
I frankly like Dr. Kachelman. He is a good doctor that will take time with you. Unfortunately his office staff, from the office manager down is terrible. There is no follow through on anything from things important like lab results, appointments with specialists and other timely medical issues. Add to this, when you try to call the office your call is routed to a VIP Care answering service who takes your number and questions why you're calling. They will not send your call through to the office. Precious time is lost waiting for the office to call you back. Even after numerous attempts, your return call can be days, if ever.
Great staff, really listened and ordered all the appropriate tests to diagnose the problem. We recommend VIP at Canopy Oaks.
Dr. Kachelman has taken over for Dr. Vogt. I didn't know Dr. Vogt that well as he usually sent in his assistant. I have been to see Dr. K multiple times and every time I was with him, he has shown his knowledge, expertise, kindness, concern and caring of my individual issues. Dee and Elaine, who are some of his staff, are exceptional. Elaine always greets me and is such a happy person, it makes you feel better. What can I say about Dee - she is the best! I love her concern and sincerity and how she listens to my issues. She then tells me that Dr. K will take good care of me - and he does! He listens to all my issues and takes the time to talk about each one specifically. Since I moved to FL, I have seen multiple doctors and there is no one that I know of that can compare to Dr. K.
Every time I disagree with him he tells me to get a another Dr. Also during these times he doesn’t see patients only by phone and if there’s a problem he tells you to go to the emergency room.
This is the worst Dr office I have ever dealt with! There is nothing good to say about the dr or the office staff. Beware!!
I had the worst experience the reveiws you read on this place are right. He told me I'm not disabled after meeting me not even 10 min the staff was nice but Michael Vogt was the worst he needs to be taught about how he handles patients so I think ill look into the department of agriculture and see how I can have him reprremand
I needed a referral for an orthopedic doctor to treat my bad knees, and Dr. Vogt's P.A. Jamie Kinsey refused, saying they could treat me. No thanks. I suppose SHE wanted the money for it. Dr. Vogt himself is a cold, tactless fellow with a poor bedside manner. I have recently switched to another doctor. I won't have to listen to endless repetitive lectures on the evils of being overweight from two skinny people who've probably never been overweight in their lives. It's such a relief to know that I won't have to go back there again.
I haven't seen doctor Vogt. Anyone know where he is? I'm now seeing a nurse practitioner!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
