Useless, uncaring, unfriendly. Never explained ANYTHING. Only said you have lymphoma. Never explained labs. Never talked about what was next. Never explained what it all meant and how to proceed. Just came in room with his back towards me while he sat at computer and looked at my labs for the first time. Then said , you have lymphoma/leukemia. Refused to answer questions. Refused to discuss anything. I high tailed it out of there, did self-referral to Mofitt cancer Center and couldn’t be happier there with the oncologist/hematologist who specializes in My type of cancer and is at the opposite end of the spectrum from the inadequate functioning of Dr.Pastorini. I read his poor reviews when I was referred tomDr. Pastorini. I should have heeded the info there. Save yourself the time and agony. Seek treatment elsewhere first. He doesn’t even deserve a 1 star.

Uncaring and was totally wrong in what he said about my scans. Went to Moffitt to a real oncology specialist and got no evidence of disease after he told me I was ate up with cancer.

I was just a "snowbird" to him so he didn't bother to actually talk to me. Also after my labs were read he came into the waiting room and said "Oh Good you are still here. Your ### count was low are you taking ### this week?" I said "no it's the 7 days I'm off." He then said "Well you should be OK to have your treatment " then ran off to his next appointment. There were other patients in the room. I believe that's a HIPPA violation.. I found a different Oncologist.. This was at the clinic on SE 18th St. In Ocala.

He obviously doesn’t care about his patients. Blunt is ok if you know the facts of the patients case and he clearly didn’t read my medical history or know why I was there for the appt. He could have asked me and I would have told him why. Incidentally, It was time to schedule a follow up scan. My previous oncologist “retired” and I was stuck with this guy. I fired him on the spot at the first meeting. Negative, arrogant, and completely discounted the decades of experience from my previous oncologist by attempting to change the assessment of my scan from months ago. No thank you. Refer me out please.

Dr. Pastorini has provided excellent service to me. He is extremely professional and can be blunt and to the point which may make some people hesitant. However as my treatment has progressed, my husband and I have become very comfortable and appreciate his candor. As my treatment continues we know we are in excellent hands. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Pastorini.
