Walter Mitta's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient of Dr. Mitta ever since I relocated to Florida and I must say, Dr Mitta and his staff have got to be the most pleasant, welcoming and caring group of medical professionals I have ever experienced. Thank you.

I have been a patient of Dr Mitta for over a decade he is a very compassionate person who care for the his patients his always been there for me when ever I need medical help the only thing I feel is he needs a person in the office fluent in English and Spanish the person there does not speak English and don't understand what patients need please Dr Mitta you need to make a change in the front office

Dr. Mitta is one of the worst doctors I've ever had the experience to know. First of all, no one in his office speaks or understands the English language with any proficiency. One of his staff even walked away from her desk as I was trying to explain a problem to her which she couldn't understand. His physical examinations consist of listening to your heart and lungs through his stethoscope and tapping on your knee to check your reflexes. He'll ask some questions in broken English and then send you off for a blood test. He is oblivious to what's on your chart because he sent me twice last year for mammograms, even though I only need one that was covered by by health insurance, which I now am responsible to pay for out of pocket. He also sent me for a colonoscopy, which I do need, to a doctor I did not want and I asked his office to send me to a doctor I preferred. This was back in October of 2022. His staff never sent the request to my Healthcare provider no matter how many times I asked them to do, so to date (January 2023) they have yet to do so, so I have NOT HAD THE COLONOSCOPY I NEED. Unless you're fluent in Spanish and don't mind being examined by a doddering old man, you'd be well-informed to stear clear of Dr. Mitta and his surly, unpleasant staff.

I'm very glad with the attention of Dr. MITTA. He paid attention to my concerns and ordered to do the necessary tests immediately. Also, his staff sent the refills needed to my preferred pharmacy. Since he ordered to do the tests so fast, I don't need to be jumping to specialists that takes forever to give you an appointment. Very very glad.

Dr. Mitta saved my husband life. He went for a regular 6 month check up and his urine test showed small droplet of blood, the test was redone and the blood was there. Dr. Mitta sent my husband to Dr. Paul Joe (Urologist) who after some testing found my husband to have Bladder Cancer. He had surgery, and it’s checked every 3 months and it has been 3 years without any cancer. We will never thank Dr.Mitta enough for his throughout examination, his explanation of what could it be, his kindness and rapid response to my husband cancer. Dr. Mitta needs to be aware of a Front Office individual who is "extremely" difficult to understand at his Waiting Room window, and in talking on the phone with clients. It is always very frustrating for both this employee of Dr. Mitta's and his clients, resulting in a lot of misinformation and confusion in attempting to set up appointments and in relaying needed insurance and medical information for Dr. Mitta. As Dr. Mitta's Office's 1st introduction to his patients, it ends up being an extremely time-consuming, difficult, and frustrating one. Dr. Mitta badly needs someone easy to understand and patient with his clients in his office. (Please Note: This problem is not with Savannah, who sometimes works the front window. Savannah is just the opposite ~ very easy for everyone to understand, pleasant, and easy-going in assisting all Dr. Mitta's clients.)

Dr. Mitts saved my life back in 2011. He's been my Doctor until present time. He is a real good person.

Just saw Dr. Mitta yesterday as a new patient. Extremely kind, thorough in his exam. Wants me back in 3 weeks to follow me. Lots of complex medical issues. He patted me on the shoulder and said, " I will help you." I burst into tears. His staff is so caring and kind. For a first impression, he ticked every box. I spent over an hour for the whole exam. No rush. I highly recommend him to anyone. God bless him and his staff. Medically, I'm not easy at all. 🙏❤a

Dr. Mitta was very thorough checking me out and paid close attention to what I said trying to get to the source of any problem to correct it.

Dr Mitta is a very friendly and caring doctor. He spends the time needed to address any issues that you might be having. His staffing if also very caring and friendly.
