Dr Velardi allowed me in on the Pow wow every morning when trying to figure out what would help my brother Don. He explained things so I could understand, his humor was refreshing, he treated me like a member of a team which kept me from feeling so helpless while my loved one was hospitalized. He had a heart to heart with me at one point which was the most tender supportive conversation I've had in a lonnng time. I had been at the hospital for a month with my brother and although everything they tried couldn't get Don out of his rutt, I feel they did all they could before transferring him. I will miss that CCU family, I will miss Dr Velardi!

Dr. Velardi has no manners and no heart. He is rude and bossy. He truly doesn't listen to what you have to say and acts like a God. In 2003 I ended up in the hospital due to Dr. Antony Alatriste's errors and malpractise and sadly ended up in the hands of this other incompetent individual. Drs. Alatriste, Alar, and Velardi conspired to destroy me, or so it seemed. I was fine until once again I was turned into a guinea pig, struggling to survive. They tried to convince me I'd die if I would not remove my whole intestine (a very expensive surgery by the way, very profitable to them) telling me horrifying things and causing me even more anxiety, but here I'm today alive and healthy with my intestine intact, staying away from such greedy, lying doctors only trying to make money off of me and treating me like a guinea pig. So sad this is what medicine has become, a business to make doctors rich and us sick in order for them to stay in business, truly disgusting.

Dr. Velardi was kind, professional and very helpful. He took the time to talk with us about all aspects of my daughter's condition and truly seemed to care about the human/emotional side of things.
