Tried to make an appointment through WebMD -- never got a call back. Tried to call them by phone, and you're put on hold.
Dr Wong is excellent but one can be 20 plus minutes on the phone waiting for someone to answer ????
He is the best. Very thorough
I could not find any other place to post this review so I posted it here. I felt it was very important for others to read. My husband and I were patients of Dr. David Wong. When I was with Dr. Wong he never introduced himself when ever he came in nor did he hardly look at me or smile. I don't care if he looks at me or not but at least acknowledge I am in the room ok? Anyway while he was treating me he was rude, obnoxious and arrogant, he also lied to me 3 times. I finally quit going to him, but my husband was still going to him getting pain medicine for the pain in his legs. He was diagnosed with 3 different diseases in his legs and had hugh sores on both legs, plus he has a lot of pain in his back from an accident that happened several years ago. The other day when my husband went to see Dr. Wong he was not seen by Wong but by NP instead. The NP talked to my husband then gave him a letter from Wong. When I read the letter it said Wong was dropping my husband for no reason, just saying my husband is not to come back. I was so mad. Wong did not even have the courage to tell my husband why he was dropping him just sent a letter by someone else. Where I come from we call a person like that a coward. Wong didn't even send instructions on how to taper off the meds just let him go off “cold turkey” just like he did me. I suffered so much I thought I was dieing. My hubby is 80 yrs old and for him to go through that is inhumane. I do not suggest anyone go to this doctor and I don't know how he can stay in practice if he keeps treating patients this way.
I was so shocked by the lack of compassion and blatently disinterest Dr. Wong displayed. I went to him because I've had enough of suffering with several chronic illnesses and being in pain daily. I had never gone to a pain management doctor before, but I need help dealing with the pain, so finally, I made the appointment. Dr. Wong came in, shook my hand, then sat behind a computer on the opposite side of the room. He never looked at me again. No eye contact, no exam, spoke as little as possible. Seemed irritated that I didn't want to get shots in my neck that he offered. I tried to explain that my neck wasn't the only source of pain, and that my tendons and most joints hurt also. If he understood that, I don't know, since he didn't respond. He prescribed Gabapentin, which I took for one month. Went back for a second appointment and explained that it helped some, but not enough. He again sat as far away as possible and stared at his computer screen. When I again expressed hesitation to getting shots in my neck, he quickly left the room telling me I might need to see a psychiatrist on his way out. This treatment was not what I expected at all. I will never go back. I recently went to another pain specialist in to my area. The difference in the way I'm being treated is night and day! Please don't see Dr. Wong and let yourself be treated with disrespect.
As a chiropractor and a daughter I needed a very special and compassionate doctor to help me with my elderly mother's medical needs. Both she and I appreciate the time that Dr. Wong spends with her. We have never had to wait more than 5 mins. to see him and he has never been rushed when examing my mother. She looks forward to seeing him and not only that her health has improved significantly.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
