Such a caring professional. Stayed late to make sure tests were completed to avoid the need for dialysis in our special needs family member. Kept family well informed with personal phone calls.

He has been my doctor for 5 years. I have always been taken in on time & have never had to wait very long. He is always concerned about my overall health, & gives alot of good advice. My appointments are never rushed & I appreciate the time he spends. He listens to my many questions & always responds honestly, in details I understand. He honors my choice to use natural remedies. He is always available if necessary. He discovered when another doctor damaged me by utilizing a dye taking my kidneys from stage 3 to 4 & worked hard to get me back to stage 3. He intervened with other doctors if new medicines would have further damaged my kidneys. He shows concern by wanting me to keep him informed about all treatments or medicines prescribed to me. He is valuable as my doctor. He out does all of my other doctors. I don’t know what I would do without him. He is my rock & my hope. Great sense of humor. He deserves a “Best Doctor of the Year” award. I give Thanks for all he does!

I see Dr. Abreu on scheduled appointment he is a very knowledgeable Neophrology Specialist, describes most of your questions in a very professional manner that can easily be understood, his nursing staff is also caring, courteous and treat patients very polite and in a professional manner.

Dr. Abreu is a great doctor! He's very professional. He is very friendly and he actually sits and takes time to talk to you to see if there's other concerns that don't show in your blood work. He's an excellent doctor!

Dr. Abreu does not listen to me. He has walked away from me several times and has cancelled my dialysis without telling me. He is not helpful in completing forms required for my job; he has represcribed medicine that caused problems for me in the past.

I can't say enough about this wonderful man. He cared for my grumpy father in law the same as he would his own parent. He made sure my father in law got some surgery he needed while hospitalized; the other doctors were not sure whether to go ahead with something we felt he really needed. Dr. Abreu went to bat for him and was always looking out for his whole health. After my father in law passed away, we even got a sympathy card from Dr. Abreu's office. What incredible compassion and care!
