Eric Downes is very good about listening to patient concerns and what they believe works best for them. The receptionist I spoke to over the phone, Gigi, was EXTREMELY helpful and provided excellent service. During a long hold, she checked in to reassure that I wasn't in the hold void and that she was just waiting for a response from Downes.

Hello! I hope everyone reading this is doing well. It has been a year since I started seeing Dr. Downes. I can genuinely say this has been such a blessing. When I started seeing Dr. Downes I was severely depressed & suicidal (The worst I had ever been in my life) I had just had a horrible experience with a different psychiatrist and I was holding on to a small strand of hope. Dr. Downes took the time and effort to know my history & concerns. He understood that I was skeptical of getting on medication again. There has not been one appointment where I felt unheard or anything of that nature. Please if you are in need of help take this as a sign to seek help. Take my word for it I would probably be dead if I hadn't started seeing Dr. Downes.

Dr. Downes is so caring. He works closely with the patient and the family to provide the very best treatment even for very complex SMI. He is very responsive to messages and reaches out with advice and recommendations.
