I was referred to Dr.Boardman for a colon resection surgery. Since this was my first surgery ever, I was scared and not sure what to expect. Dr. Boardman really took his time answering all my questions and explaining the procedure at length. When I looked puzzled, he even drew me a picture to help me understand. You just don't find doctor's who take this kind of time to make you feel at ease. The procedure went off without a hitch and I could not be more grateful. Best surgeon ever!!

If you are looking for a top rated surgeon look no further! Dr. Boardman is the best!! This was my first surgery ever (colon resection) and I was terrified. Dr. Boardman took his time answering all my questions and made me feel at ease. Even on the day of the actual surgery, Dr. Boardman came in and reassured me that I would be alright. I could not have picked a better doctor for my procedure.

Terrible experience. Would not recommend under any circumstances, especially emergency surgery. Acts bored and disinterested to answer questions or concerns. Zero patient empathy. Will never return. Instead of 1 star, zero would be more appropriate. Terrible after-care and surgery follow-up.

Disgusted with this Doctor and his bed side manner, lack of compassion, and overall cocky attitude. I wouldn’t trust him to treat my dog.

Was very reassuring as I faced the uncertain journey to learn whether I had breast cancer or not. While my other doctors and I could palpate some lumps without detection by mammography or ultrasound, Dr. Boardman identified a very small lump unrelated to the others. It was his discovery that started the journey while the other issues were normal and insignificant. He was able to find everything on the ultrasound within the first 60 seconds. Core needle biopsy indicated the need for additional surgery. Very knowledgeable, compassionate and competent. As I wait for results, I will definitely request Dr. Boardman if further surgery is needed. An asset to the central Florida area in general and to South Lake Hospital specifically.
