Jeffrey Smith's Online Review Report Card

As a new breast cancer patient, Dr. Smith was very informative about what to expect from the very first appointment. The breast cancer team has been very helpful throughout the (unfortunate) diagnosis. Dr. Smith called me personally a few times to discuss results of exams. Before surgery he discussed what to expect and surgery was successful. I am very grateful for the doctor and his team throughout this process. I know there is more treatment to follow but my experience so far has been 5 star.

I had bilateral inguinal hernia and a umbilical hernia which Dr Smith repaired. The surgery was supposed to be robotic assist but there were issues with the software that day. He instead performed laparoscopic surgery and did the repairs. I was confident in his ability and he proved me right. The surgical team from start to finish were so friendly and personable. This was the best surgical experience I’ve ever had!

From the front desk to seeing Dr Smith, my visits have been exemplary. Your staff has been kind and caring. There are 3 people I wish to recognize: Ashley, Kristyn Schultz, and Mary - one of the nurses. I couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience. Plus, I love Dr Smith!

Excellent doctor

I suffered abdominal pain for almost 14 years that no other specialist could figure out through scans, tests and symptoms. As my last attempt, Dr. Smith was the third surgeon I saw in last year as my symptoms were escalating to unbearable at times. He listened to me as a patient, and without hesitation offered diagnostic surgery. Turns out I had a couple things going on he was able to fix. I am 4 weeks post-op and happy to say I can sneeze, cough and most importantly have a good belly laugh with my friends and family without searing pain ripping through my abdomen. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and I also had a great experience at ORMC. Thank you, Dr. Smith for giving me back quality of life!

Cold shoulder, wouldn’t help me. Story of my life. Only 37 years old.. 1 year abdominal pain. Co worker extremely unfriendly, rude, pushed me out with no paperwork or anything. Was treated like a leper / outcast. Fake smiles. Avoid and spend money and time with a surgeon who wants to help you!!!!!

So! it took me a while to get around to this, and I told the staff (un-solicited by them) I would. I read the reviews here before I came in to see Dr. Smith. I have to tell you I am not a go to the Dr. kind of person, but I had a lump on my back that had to be removed. Dr. Smith and the staff were 1st class and I was in and out in no time at all. Hopefully I will never have to visit them again, but if I do, it's to drop off donuts or something nice for them. Thanks folks for treating people like people. J

My first 'go to' surgeon if I have to have surgery. I trust his knowledge, wisdom, and skill. An added bonus is that you can actually share and ask questions knowing he will answer them.
