I have been visiting Dr Shirer’s office for over 15 years. And every visit has been pleasant, friendly, and professional care has always been provided to me. His staff that support him on a daily basis are top notch, too! Lastly, besides being a professional doctor, you immediately find out his passion in life at his newest facility in Ocoee, Florida. Photography! Beautiful magnificent art of his photography are enlarged to museum size frames adorning his office, which provides a relaxing background while you wait. Thank you again Dr Joseph Shirer! The ultimate skin care doctor of Central Florida hands down!

A little slow. Good experience with the doc.

ZERO STARS!I am so disappointed with Dr Shier’s practice! He is a great Dr but does not have time for his patients and is intentionally pushing them out!I am posting this review so you are aware if you are a new patient!1. I am a current patient. I had an allergic reaction / break out and called to schedule an appointment. They couldn’t see me until my prescheduled appointment in October (it is July). They have ZERO room for current patient extra needs.2. They just called to push my husbands appointment for this week, out 4 months. He has had this appointment since his last one. He needs annual appointments because of serious pre cancer skin issues.Again, great dr, but now we are stuck having to find a new practice and being new patients all over again with ZERO warning from the office!!Disappointed! I wish there had been some warming if they were shrinking the practice.

My family and I had been going to Dr.Shirer for almost 20 yrs he used to take his time to explain things. Over the last five yrs he rushes in,rushes out and his nurse takes overThe wait time in his office is well over an hour. He has no P.A. so when hes out (happens alot) he just cancels appointments and closes his office.my last Appointment I was asked to leave because I sneezed (from the sun) coming into the office and it made me sniffHe refused to treat me and told his receptionist to make me leave. So humiliating

This office is the example of what not to do.They never answer the phones, the wait time regularly runs 30-40 past your actual appointment

Dr.Shirer, has been my doctor for over 20 plus years. He’s friendly, listens to you and answer your questions . He tells you what he’s going to do with your diagnosis. I really like his new office and staff. Dr. Shirer office gets booked up because he’s a doctor that knows his field well. When Dr. Shirer has to do a procedure he try’s not to leave a bad scare. We need more doctors like Dr.Shirer. Thank you!

EXCELLENT. BEEN A PATIENT FOR OVER 20 YEARS.

I went to Dr. Shirer years ago when he took my insurance and was located in Health Central Hospital. I now have different insurance that he does not take but I would not go any place else. I self-pay because I really like and trust him. I don't find him to be expensive but he is caring and takes time to talk to you and explain things and that's what it's all about.

Dr. Shirer may be a wonderful doctor but his office leaves a lot to be desired. No masks on half the staff and the other half wearing them on their chin. They cancelled my appointment twice. The second time I received a call in the am and the person could not hear me. I called back. No answer. No attempt was made to call me back. I went to the office to find out my appointment was cancelled. I rescheduled. Sat in this office for 35 after the appointed time and asked how much longer and was told he was in surgery and another person in front of me. Would not give me an estimate on time. I am sure it would have been another 45 to an hour wait I'm sure.

I’ve been going to Dr. Shirer for many years. However I changed doctors because his office was on the opposite side of town from where I live. Big mistake ! Called the office Thursday and got appointment for the following Monday. The doctor and staff were friendly as always . No waiting. Got in and out in less than an hour. Professional treatment with a little down home style. My kind of place. Thanks Doc.
