On 9821 two family members were admitted following surgeries. Fifth floor care team gave outstanding service to both. Night nurse John and his male nurse counterpart were special favorites. Day nurse Keersten was a superhero. Seneca kept the rooms very clean and well stocked. New furniture since I was admitted last. Health Central has come a long way and provided two great inpatient experiences for my loved ones. Thanks to their caring and dedicated staff.

Was hospitalized for a few days staff was great and nursing staff was very nice and friendly even the ER staff very helpful and kind thank you all

We have been patients of Orlando Health - Health Central Hospital and I've seen many improvements and am happy that they utilize the "MyChart.com" app so we can stay on top of our medical history, send an email to the doctors when we have 'stupid simple' questions that need answers. Great facility. Great doctors, and close to home. Health Central is the 'community hospital' with the big hospital technology at its disposal.

Excellent, efficient service at Orlando Health though scheduling phone was very difficult to reach.

Kudos to Dr Beltre, his OR team, and the fifth floor care team for great care for my two loved ones admitted for surgery 9/8/21. Special thanks to Seneca for very clean rooms, night nurses John and his male partner nurse, and day nurse Kirsten (pronounced Keer-sten). This list and the others did a great job of patient care. This review is in reference to the Emergency Room. Much of this hospital’s nursing staff seem to believe mental illness and violence go hand in hand and perpetuate the stigmatization of mental health. What I heard and observed in regard to baker acted patients was appalling and disgusting. As healthcare workers, you need to hold yourselves to higher standards. I work in the behavioral/mental health field and have never even thought the things I heard from the providers here about my clients or residents. It truly is not difficult to empathize with others, and if you are choosing a field where you hold a position of authority over vulnerable individuals, you are OBLIGATED to treat those in your care ethically. The baker act law is more punitive than helpful, and to speak lowly of and kick individuals experiencing such distress down is despicable. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone. The care you or your loves ones receive is saturated in resentment, shame, and disgust by clearly burnt out, jaded, cynical healthcare workers who do nothing to take care of themselves to ensure they are providing adequate, compassionate care while in their work environment Healthcare worker to healthcare workers: If you find yourself speaking poorly about your patients and feeling quick to anger, take some time away to stabilize yourself or find a new career.

Terrible experience! My mom was there for 10days, she was originally misdiagnosed and when it was time for her to go to rehab they told us she tested positive for COVID. Her social worker's name was Latasia and she wanted to send her to a terrible COVID skilled nursing facility. We made them re-test her twice and both were negative for COVID. Latasia was the absolute rudest and non-compassionate person we've ever dealt with, her only concern is how fast she can get someone discharged.

Health Central Hospital is the worst hospital I have ever gone to. Went in for chest pain. Had to sit in the waiting room for 9 hours. It was another 2 hours in a room before I received any care. The staff is unprofessional and discourteous. There is no privacy practices in place. All of your information is head through out the waiting room. One of the staff members got right in my face and was screaming at me. The waiting room was very dirty as well as the rest rooms. Now I know why people refer to this hospital as Death Central. I would have received better care in a 3rd world country than this. I would never refer anyone to this hospital. The are not even fit to take care of your pets.
