Dr. M was able to give me some temporary relief from chronic pain which was nice. Really needed an MRI to get to the root of the issues which I had to go elsewhere to get because he felt it wasn't necessary. PRP was his suggestion based on an X-ray, however, once the MRI was completed by a different practice it was clear PRP wasn't the solution. It took nearly 2 years of "pain management" at this office before I left to find real healing.

I took my daughter under the advice of her coach to be evaluated by Dr Margiatis(previously seen by ortho , MRI showed inflammation and small tear in elbow joint: surgery suggested)After evaluating he suggested and performed prolotherapy. She rested her arm for 4 weeks and then began sessions with the training coach on her team. Her elbow was 100 percent better and to date has not had any issues.(that was 5 years ago ) I also was treated by Dr Margiatis with PRP on my feet. I felt immediate relief. I discourage anyone from having any type of surgery unless seen and evaluated by Dr Margiatis . He is knowledgeable in this field .

Dr Margaitis has been helping me with my lower back pain and migraines for the past few years. I was referred to OMT and was so happy that I gave it a try. Other doctors wanted to send me to a pain clinic and pump me with tons of pills. His bedside manner is awesome and he will break down the medical terminology so you understand what he is doing and why. It was a training location, so he had interns in and out during my sessions. His level patience to do a phenomenal job at treating my pain and training/quizzing the interns is both comical and stellar. His level of knowledge is top notch. I am so grateful for the sessions I had with Dr Margaitis and it saddens me to hear that he has left to practice.

He’s a wizard and has fixed my neuromuscular pain in different spots many times. His bedside manner is fantastic as well!

I’m am very grateful for him and his staff. I suffered a double concussion and him and his staff were the first caregivers after suffering in pain and convulsion like spasms for almost three weeks to actually listen to my health concerns and history and use something homeopathic to ease my pain and suffering since my accident. Dr. Richard Margaitis is extremely knowledgeable in orthopeadics. He the best OsteoManipulative Therapist (OMT) that I know. He has used various treatments and injections to treat joint pain and muscle spasms, with good effect. He is also a good family doctor. He understands his limitations and gives referrals when needed. He talks to you about you treatment and lets you ask questions. For treating pain I am giving him 5/5.
