William Crow's Online Review Report Card

I was surprised Dr. Crow didn't even address me by name when I arrived as a new patient. My usual osteopath, who is not only personable but also excellent and gentle, started maternity leave and I was assigned to Dr. Crow. He ushered me back to his room still with no greeting. When I said I had my usual issues he didn’t wait for me to explain. He had read my chart and said rather matter of factly, “neck, hips, knees” and told me to get on the table. There was a female intern observing, and most of the time he talked to her while he treated me. They talked about visiting Disney and, as far as I can remember, other topics unrelated to my treatment. He answered my questions but did not initiate any conversation with me, just continued talking with the intern about other things. I couldn’t believe it, especially for his first visit meeting a new patient. His pressure on my tender spots was very intense and put me in a lot of pain, which I mentioned. He expressed no compassion or concern, and there was no lessening of pressure. He just said it was stuck and he needed to loosen it up. I wouldn’t have minded his rudeness as much if his treatment had helped me, but it was very much the contrary! I am almost 66 years old and while I exercise and am in good condition for my age, my body isn’t as resilient as it used to be. It didn’t seem like he took that into consideration, and I soon reaped the severe outcome of his unnecessarily rough treatment. I go to the osteopath as preventive care, and while I was experiencing some mild discomfort beforehand, I felt normal and functional. The day after his treatment, I was in severe pain! He had apparently done something that put pressure on my sciatic nerve so my whole right hip, leg, knee, down my leg into my calf, and my foot were experiencing sharp pain! Nothing I tried took the pain away. After two days I ended up getting a steroid from another doctor and finally I am starting to feel some relief. I will never go to him again, and I advise that you find another doctor also, who has less books written and more care and skill in treating his patients. It seems he has good patient reviews from his younger years, but maybe his accolades may have gone to his head.

Incredible Doctor... Such Wonderful Skills !!! My pain over my whole body is GONE.. What a Blessing +++ I will be canceling other test from Dr.'s. No more medicine just manipulation .. Thank- You & Your Excellent Staff
