Did nothing for us, refused tow write prescriptions for anything then they want to schedule a follow up visit for doing what ??? He and his staff has apparently never prescribed a spacer to use with an inhaler, they acted like they never hear of !

Poor to no bed side manner. Doctor demonstrated a lack of empathy with absolutely no interest in patient improvement. I do hope this doctor will revisit his hippocratic oath, and ponder if he studied medicine for the right reasons. As a patient, if you are looking to improve your health, please continue your search because a drive out of town is absolutely worth greatly improving your health. Seek other doctors, especially in more severe cases. Patients deserve to know their absolute options,whether he can accommodate or not, he should be able to refer you elsewhere if he doesn't have the proper technology within his reach to help you overcome any major health challenges.

Great doctor, very knowledgeable. Took care of me right away. His office staff is very helpful, caring and diligent. Will definitely recommend this office and Dr. Shakoor.

I love to go see my mother on her birthday. I usually bring her flowers and take her to dinner. I can not see her any more because she is dead for just over a year now due to Dr. Shakoor and his incompetence. He has the bed side manner of a wet dish rag you know the one that smells bad with out getting it near your face when you throw it in the wash. I would stay away from the whole gateway group there are much better physician groups out there.

Still haven't seen this doctor but can tell you hid office staff id very unprofessional and his sleep stidies are a joke.

I have had my appointments rescheduled and even canceled last time with no call from them to even reshedule due to Dr. Shakoor prioritizing a sudden meeting. Basically, Im left feeling unvalued as a patient for some reason...either not deathly ill enough to mean big bucks or arrogance. Thats just a feeling I get as the doctor was outside the entry door on his cell phone, as I arrived at my last appointment that'd been canceled without my knowledge. He walked back in as I sat in waiting room and then walked out and left. Then a receptioist came out and told me about the cancelation. She tried to get me to come back in 1.5 hours butI had another obligation out of town. Its like doctors time matters but patients time does not. I won't be returning. Its too unreliable and a patient has a right to have trust in their doctor and feel valued.
