Guillermo Abesada-Terk's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Abasada is limited in his knowledge and scope of treatment... Does not think outside the box in more innovative approaches, i.e. nutrition, lifestyle, and others... He is not thorough and does not compare results of exams to make an educated assessment without considering other options... I had to decipher and compare results on my own... He does not make eye contact unless you are asking a question, and has a negative spin on everything, making it worse for the patient..

Dr . Abesada was more than compassionate with my husbands cancer . We went through a few months of chemo but when we called it quits due to his type of cancer he was still very very compassionate to us . I would recommend Dr. Abasada to anyone as our last Oncologist was totally in compassionate!! He is a great Dr .

Dr Abeseda has been taking wonderful care for my mother during pancreatic cancer! I find Dr A to be warm, thorough and informative! His staff is professional and provide top notch care!

First visit with Dr Abesada and he was very thorough and kind. He gave us a lot of info in a way we could understand. Would highly recommend. Staff is very friendly and upbeat as well.

He is not educated on new and updated treatments for colon cancer (colon cancer is all we worked with him for). Knows nothing of immunotherapy, targeted treatments ect. He was only able to give general chemo and he believed (s) that is the only answer - which is wrong. This makes him dangerous as a doctor as every second counts when working towards finding the right treatment. I do not recommend him as he was very detrimental to my Mother's health. Please do your research when looking for treatment as it can be night and day between doctors and cancer centers.

Condescending, more concerned with proving he was smart that being helpful or treating the patient. Did not want to explain treatment to us. Left the room in a hurry after seeming upset that we had questions. Treats the disease not the patient, I would recommend you find literally any other doctor.

Where do I even begging Dr. Abesada it's an absolute outstanding doctor, takes care of his patients like his own family, takes his time to explain what's going on or needs to be taking care, he will dig and dig for answers till he finds it, he is an amazing oncologist and my mom and family doesn't want any other doctor to take care of her but him, he knows what he is doing he is very professional at his job and very carismatic. Very admiring. Thank you for all you have done.

I have been seeing Dr. Abesada for about 5 years and he is the BEST doctor in Martin County. He is caring and takes time to listen to you. I saw a woman oncologist in a different practice for almost 2 years and it was nothing but a HORRIBLE NIGHTMARE as far as care and quality of care and professionalism. I wont trust anyone but Dr. Abesada to treat me. I cant wait to start seeing him in his new office He's the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very surprised how this doctor demonstrated such lack of compassion to the family of a dying patient.. he basically washed his hands toward the end and refused to meet with family to discuss or reiterate what to expect during last few days. Hope his loved ones never have to go through this. Recommendation: leave Oncology setting, practice plastic surgery or become a vet....very unhappy!
