I have been seeing Dr. Garcia Fernandez since last year and I’m glad I couldn’t get in touched with another doctor that I had been referred to by my Primary Dr. I didn’t know at that time that I was going to need an OHSurgery after some test results and Dr. Garcia had been amazing, treat me well as a patient, very supportive, helpful, so nice that explain all the procedures I needed before surgery, gave me peace that everything was going to be Ok, I felt very comfortable and I was well taking care of through all the process. It’s hard to make decisions so suddenly and unexpected, so I was very nervous to go through surgery. Also my Surgeon Dr. Walker was amazing, when she explained every single detail of surgery, the risk I was going to be in if I don’t do it ASAP, she gave me a sense of peace that I said ok let’s do it!She is very nice person to talk to, professional and shows her experience as a surgeon, her assistant also is very sweet took time answering all my questions and concerns every time she come to check on me at the hospital and even afterwards at the follow up appointments.I have to say I was blessed to have the best doctors because they show to the patients that they love what they do.I appreciate them and I highly recommend them !

I knew some day I would end up being treated within this facility; based on my hereditary conditions specifically. I am glad that the staff within the Heart & Vascular Institute are ready & willing & able to receive me now, as this time has come sooner than expected. I feel like the professionals who are handling my care have been the best qualified to do so.They take my lifestyle, my limitations, & restrictions all into consideration while helping me to create the best plans possible to improve & hopefully maintain my health. Best yet, they give me the resources, education, & tools to help me make these changes MYSELF; not just doing all the work for me. I feel they strive to set me up for success on my terms, not their own.To me, that is what makes the Orlando Health network the best to consider for healthcare.
