Dr. Akhtar takes the time to listen and to provide comfort to any concerns that you may have. When you enter her office you are welcomed by the friendly staff at reception and are promptly seen. Her commitment to helping others is seen in her interactions with her patients and you can tell that she genuinely wants you to be as healthy as possible. I have encountered numerous doctors before and the comfortable atmosphere she creates, right off the bat, allows her to get down to what is going on. Dr. Akhtar makes sure you leave her office well assured with a plan which allows you great solace.

She is caring, takes time to explain information to her patients and is very professional in her work. One of the best doctors I have had.

I would not ever take anyone there she dont care about her patients at all my dad is in so much pain an she wont send him back to the doc that did his surgery an she wont do it an the surgery said she waited 2 yr to send him an the clots they took out cause nerve damage in his foot due the this doc neglected respond on the matter. Malpractice is all I can say. This man is so miserable an she wont alow him to do what surgeon said to come back.

She is a wonderful physician and been seeing her for many years, also my husband and mother in law go to her. She has helped me and my family through many medical conditions and plan to let Dr. Akhtar continue with our care. Want to give a thumbs up to her staff too, they are amazing and never hesitate to help me and my family.

I've been a patient of Dr. Akhtar for several years now and I'm confident in the level of care that she provides. Dr. Akhtar is very competent and very knowledgeable in all aspects of the medical field and continuously provides me with information about my health as well as spends additional time with me to make sure and answer all questions and or concerns that I may have. Excellent staff and all are very courteous.

My mother in law travels here from Atlanta quite a bit and has established with Dr Akhtar while staying here. When she needed a total knee replacement we did not hesitate to bring her down yet again. Dr Akhtar was very through both pre and post op and made she she was totally taken care of from the time of her surgery thru post op PT. She is a very caring and compassionate and really took her time with her. She took the time to make sure all questions were answered and understood. We think she is wonderful and would recommend her to anyone.
