List of Rodney Daniel's Reviews
I have been seeing Dr. Daniel since 2016 and have followed him through 3 offices. I trust him and appreciate that he is straightforward and kind. The staff is amazing and will go above and beyond. I would recommend anyone who has a need for rheumatology to go to Bay Area Rheumatology. I drive out of my way to see them. Thank you for the years of wonderful care.
Good luck getting in contact with ANYONE over the phone from this practice. Beyond unresponsive and very unprofessional. I've needed to reschedule an initial consultation for nearly two weeks and nobody ever answers the phone or returns my voicemail. I've called 5 times. Save yourself the trouble and find another specialist!!! This practice is absolutely absurd.
Efficient and supportive.
Dr. Daniel and PA Lisa are both terrific!!
Great doctor. Diagnosed my chronic health issues after the first Rheumatologist told me to stop wasting his time. Compassionate and Professional. I have referred multiple friends to him.
Dr. Daniel is simply the best, setting the tone for his practice. They are proactive, and I always leave there having felt listened to and heard. Also, they are very good about returning phone calls and filling prescriptions. In all ways, a positive experience every time. Bottom line, I know I'm going to feel better after a visit to Dr. Daniel!
If I could give zero stars I would!! By far the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor and his office. It took me over 4 weeks to get someone to finally call me back to make an appointment as no one there answers the phone or returns messages. In person, his staff was quite rude. Dr. Daniel himself was extremely dismissive and ignored all my concerns. He did not listen to me at all. My doctor called him prior to my visit due to the importance of things and he didn't remember anything my doctor had shared with him and had no idea why I was there. He was rude and didn't listen. He would talk over me when I was answering his questions and then repeat the information back incorrectly because he wasn't listening at all. It was very clear he did not care whatsoever. It was extremely upsetting and disheartening. This is not the profession for him as he obviously does not care about people or want to help them. I absolutely do NOT recommend Dr. Daniel to anyone!!!!!
I can't speak about the Dr. because I was never able to make an appt. Jan 2, left mess., no callback (C/B); Jan 3 left mess., no C/B; Jan 4 AM, left mess., no C/B; Jan 4 PM, someone answers confirms they have my info and will C/B - do not; Jan 5 AM, someone answers says they have my info will C/B - do not; Jan 6, I don't call, they don't call; Jan 9 left detailed mess. please call for appt or if not taking appt please let me know so I can look for another Dr. - no C/B; Jan 10, 11, no C/B. So today Jan 12, I officially gave up and made appt with a Dr. quite a bit further from my area. The Dr. may be excellent but it's moot point if you can't get in to see him.
I have been treated by Dr. Daniel for 5 years and he is phenomenal! He is kind, patient, knowledgeable and truly cares about your health. He has a wonderful bedside manner and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a Rheumatologist. You will absolutely love him.
This is a faith-based practice. If that’s your thing, it will be perfect for you. I do not know why this is not disclosed when an appointment is booked or disclosed on the website or when referred by Dr. Levin. I’m not sure if anyone in the office believes in Science but they love Jesus.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
