Anita Mathur's Online Review Report Card

She is an excellent doctor. She has been seeing my children since they were born and she treats them like family.

They told us on the phone they accepted our insurance (CHAMPVA) and then told us they didn't when we checked in and made me pay upfront, and then wouldn't provide me with the correct billing information I needed to be able to submit for an out-of network visit - after asking for it at least 5 times after the appointment. We waited about 45 minutes for our appointment and Dr. Mathur was wearing open toed sandals, which didn't seem very hygienic to me. We won't be returning.

I called my children's doctor to transfer all their records to Dr. Mathur since we just moved here to Orange City. I called them few weeks ago to find out if they received it, and they said yes. The only thing left is that I have to call my insurance to let them know that I am changing my primary physician. So I called today to find out, and whoever answered the phone is so disrespectful, she said that there is no record there that's been transferred, and then when I told her that somebody told me the last time that they already received it, and they just want me to call Cigna to let them know, she just cut me off and raised her voice on me saying that she doesn't know who I talked to the last time, but there is no record. My son is sick, and as a worried mother, this is what I got from someone who probably doesn't even like her job at all, and lashing it out to people. We never been treated like this by Doctor Caron's assistant or front desk. They were all nothing but sweet and kind people. I guess, I just need to find someone else who has some compassion to people.

Dr Mathur is wonderful! She has years and years of experience and I respect her opinion.

She is an excelente doctor because She always pays attention to children and parents.

WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET

She to care of me between the ages of 10 to 16. She has been seeing my son since he was 3 and he is now 7. If you get an appt. in the morning then the wait is anywhere from 15 min. to 30 min. In the afternoon, after school,it can be from 30 min. to 1 hr. She will bump up a pt. if a child is very ill.She listened to me and my needs when I was young and does so with my son. I am a RN and she truly does take her time to listen to what you have to say and asks appropriate question. She is caring and very matter fact. She is very honest and asks about everything so she can truly help your child. If you have something to hide then this is not the doctor for you. :)

Her professionalism was first alluded as superb, but after a few years her "TLC" began to dissipate. Her continuous discrimination and harsh terminology towards my daughter was outrageous. She does not take the time nor the effort to listen to what her patients have to say. I do not recommend this lady.
