List of Charlene Robertson's Reviews
Dr. Roberson is very cold, arrogant, set in her ways and refuses to listen to her patients symptoms and concerns. She has zero compassion for her patients pain, suffering and needs. Instead of trying to listen to my concerns and my symptoms, she is always quick to dismiss me and send me to other specialists that send me back to her because my problem is clearly related to my thyroid and my diabetes. If you dare to suggest doing extra blood work or changing your meds because there is no improvement to your quality of life, she gets defensive instead of trying to understand your needs. The only reason that I have stayed with her is because she is the only endocrinologist in town and I’m not able to drive myself somewhere else due to my condition.
Do not waste your time with Dr. Robertson! I have had diabetes and thyroid problems my whole life and I have never had a doctor as bad as she is. She does not go out her way to figure out what is causing new symptoms. She is condescending and can be nasty if challenged. After having her as my doctor for a year I made the best decision and switched to my current doctor and it is night and day.
Dr. Robertson lacks compassion and is condescending with her patients. She will address your pain or concerns. Worst doctor I have ever had.
I love Dr. Robertson and her office staff. They are considerate of appointment time and a pleasure to deal with. Dr. Robertson was very quickly able to get me on the correct medications for my thyroid issues, which was something, no other doctor was able to do. I have been seeing her for several years now. Thank you Dr. Robertson!
This week I needed a refill on my antidepressant she's been prescribing for years. Today she responded to her own answering service telling me she isn't the doctor who prescribes it, and further more that isn't a drug she can prescribe. What does that even mean? Has she been prescribing me drugs illegally? Has she been lying on all my medical records? Her name is literally on the empty bottle and has been for years. I now have to wean myself off the highest dose antidepressant without guidance and only two pills left. And she's the only endocrine specialist in 100 miles. I have diabetes and a heart condition and this is triggering a mental health crisis. I would very much like a resolution. She says "I'm leaving the country, call the office tomorrow" OKAY...I dont really have a choice do I.
Had 10 clock appointment was canceled because the said I should have been there at 93 to fill out Paper work. They refused to see me Even though there were no other appointments waiting and had waited 3 Months for apppoinmemt . guessmore worried about money than patient care or health
For the past year I have been my husband caregiver, he had a series of 3 surgeries in a 9 month period, I was working full time with no days off to cover my appointments, we had to sell our home and move with our son in NC, 2 weeks after moving my husband suffered a heart attack, he contracted covid at the hospital a day after his release, working with his care a home, I also contacted covid. I been trying to get a Family Doctor and a Endocrinologist to continue treatment here, they are so behind that my appointment is on April 12th. I hope you understand my circumstances. Today, I try to explain to your MA but she was very negative and at some point rude to me, I told her that my last pill is today and must probably will have a withdraw of the medication what would I do? Call back the office? She Immediately replied "we are not your doctor anymore" at that moment I understood the conversation was over and I hang up the phone. I believe that all patients are not the same and they have specific needs, but I understand there should be way of manage this situation in a more professional way. Not with a big NO since the beginning of the conversation, rude attitude, showing discontent over the phone. Perhaps we could tele- health, send the paperwork to a local laboratory for blood withdraw, ect But at least show caring and look for alternatives in my situation, is easy to judge people without not knowing all the facts. I understand that the office has help me in that past and I'm grateful for it. But at least try to alleviate the situation. She just sent me this portal today.
After my last appointment with her PA on virtual my last few appointments I have not seen Dr robertson. The office has not called me for an appointment. I will call tomorrow hopefully with success. I am a diabetic..
Office seems efficient. The doctor could definitely be more personable. Overall though, my issue was that the doctor just seemed completely stumped and over the last year basically did nothing to help me. I have gastroparesis and from my first blood test she told me she wanted to put me on weight loss pills (I'm not very overweight and I work out a lot) and a diabetic diet, but then she kinda corrected herself that she couldn't use the pills she wanted because of my GP, and I needed iron and that diet would conflict with the diabetic diet... she recommended a couple of specialists but never provided any names or support in finding them not sent any referrals to any office. Basically I wasted a year and all those copays for zero improvement and she refused to even try anything.
Dr. Robertson is a wonderful doctor, always trying to solve any health problem or difficulty one may have. She prides herself in creating a perfectly balanced regimen for me to take the medicines I need and get the results that are best for me.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
