List of Godson Oguchi's Reviews
Dr.Oguchi is a highly intelligent, caring soul. He and his great staff will do everything possible to help everyone they can.✝️❤️
Dr Oguchi is very good at his job. His staff esp for scheduling leaves much to be desired. I was being treated with antibiotics that weren't specific to the disease for 2 months. Tried to get appointment for change to appropriate antibiotics. The person I spoke to did not seem to acknowledge/understand why I was anxious to get proper treatment and felt that 10 days was acceptable.. Maybe they need some medical background
He is very helpful and he knows not a handle any infectious disease that you may come encounter with. Very personable and friendly doctor with a great bedside manner.
Great Dr with experience in this field. And good explanation of the infection and treatment, good office and nurses staff.
What he really deserve is a 0 start. He's unprofessional and disrespect patient and employees. I did some lab tests and was there to get them read to me, when he got to the office he ask me "so, what are you here for?" ?? Like what? You don't know? Ok, well I tell him I'm there to get my labs results read and he's like "ok, you have them?" I clearly don't... they were sent direct to his office. So he opens the door and yell to the nurse to bring him my results. At that point I was ready to leave, jut stay just because I needed my labs test results. And he goes on reading my results and after NOT explaining absolutely nothing, he leaves the room and come back with a voice recorder and start recording himself saying my info... ?? I ask him why he was recording my info and he say "this is how I do my notes" ?? What era are we at? What's wrong with this Dr? And why he doesn't even mention it before starting? That's still my info and I'm still here!! ??????? I was so mad and frustrated.
UPDATED REVIEW: My grandmother has had two appointments with them now. The first one was a FU to IV treatment. The appointment was scheduled for 2:30. We were put into a room quick enough, but then continued to wait for an hour an a half, because Dr Oguchi wasn't even there. None of the staff members checked on us or bothered to explain the long wait. So we rescheduled. Today we went again to try to FU with this IV treatment. Waited ANOTHER HOUR AND A HALF....Dr Oguchi got there late apparently. Again, no one bothered to check on us or explain the long wait. So we go to leave. I'm standing at the reception desk and the lady that checked us in said "He's coming." and I said "Well, we're leaving. We've been here an hour and a half already". Dr Oguchi comes around the corner and says "Bye". No apology for wasting our time. No explanation. Nothing. Just "Bye". Very unprofessional. In most Dr office's, If a patient is more than 10 minutes late for their appointment they have to reschedule and sometimes even pay for their late/missed appointment. But we're expected to sit for an hour and half for the doctor who's not even in the building?! I don't think so. Not going there again. Staff is unorganized and the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing, and Dr Oguchi apparently doesn't care whose time he wastes. Dr Oguchi is inconsiderate of his patients time and his staff is seriously lacking in the communication department. I was called on a Thursday to schedule a start date for my grandmothers IV therapy. I was told that they do the therapy over the weekend as well. My grandmother is a CKD, CHF and Diabetes patient. Because of her major medical conditions we decided to start her IV therapy the next morning (Friday) so she could get better, sooner. Saturday, after her appointment, I was told that she had to have lab work done sometime BEFORE her 9am appointment on Monday. Understandably, during a pandemic, you have to make appointments at labs for lab work. You can’t just walk in. Being told on a Saturday late morning left me with Sunday or Monday early morning. All appointments were taken. Talking with the staff Sunday about the inability to get in anywhere, she told me of a place that she “supposedly called and confirmed” that they were open and taking walk ins. So we got up early Monday morning and got to that clinic at 7am right as they opened. When the nurse called us around 730 she said they couldn’t do the lab work without prior authorization from her PCP. Her PCP didn’t open until 8:30. And even then when I called to try and get it moving faster , her PCP wasn’t in the office to sign for the authorization. We waited at the lab the entire time hoping authorization would come. So we went back to Dr Oguchi’s office and explained the entire situation. I was told “do it ASAP” and that is was non-fasting. So I immediately made an appointment for later that afternoon and we got the lab work done. We come in to the office this morning and they are now saying that lab work is not good enough and that it has to be done in the morning, when the majority of the medicine is out of her system. The staff member (SAME WOMAN WHO TOLD ME YESTERDAY TO DO IT ASAP) is insisting she told me that. And she didn’t. So now I’m back to square one. Meanwhile, my grandmother who has CKD is potentially having too much medicine pumped into her body, putting her kidneys at risk, because the staff isn’t effectively communicating to the patient/caretaker. If the original scheduler had mentioned that there would need to be very specific lab work done, I never would have scheduled her to start over the weekend. I’ve worked in healthcare, I understand the importance of needing things done in a timely and correct manner, which is why I’m so frustrated. This stuff needs to be explained to the patient/caretaker at the time of scheduling so they are fully informed of what’s needed.
Office staff will schedule patient appointments for times when the doctor isnt even there, and then make the patient sit in a room for more than an hour without any further communication. Twice I took my grandmother for a simple follow up to IV treatment. Both times we were put into a room and sat there waiting for an hour and a half each time. The first time the doctor was never even there. The second time, the doctor came late from his other office location. Not once did a staff member come to check on us or explain the long wait. And the Dr himself was rude and inconsiderate. When I said we were leaving, he said "Bye". Not so much as apology for wasting our time. Very unprofessional. Staff is unorganized and horrible with communication.
Dr O is great! The staff and office manager is atrocious, rude, condescending, unprofessional, and inept. Among other things, they refuse to give a message to the doctor when I asked to SPEAK to the Dr over the phone, instead they insist that I schedule and appt to come into the office to talk to him. Perhaps these reviews will be read by the Dr and the Dept of Health so that their state and county funding will be pulled until these concerns are addressed appropriately. This office is a quasi-public entity and is subject to public record laws.
Dr Oguchi was great. I really appreciated that he treated me very personally. It was very comforting feeling like more than just another patient passing through the office.
He gave me the correct diagnosis and prompt treatment where other doctors had seemed mystified and/or uncaring. A definite cut above.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
