Do NOT go to this center. Staff is NOT understanding or compassionate. My wife is 62, from India. She acts like a child at times. When staff told her they would have to dilate her eyes, my wife got too nervous and asked to see the Dr first. Staff refused, saying they can't let Dr see her until they dilate her eyes first. My wife asked to reschedule and they told her to call in to do so. When we got home I called to reschedule and staff told us they would not accept my wife as patient.

Dr. George is a Glaucoma specialist and just as good as it gets. I went to see Dr. George after another Ophthalmologist botched a cataract surgery and damaged my eye so bad that I had intractible glaucoma. Dr. George performed surgery and now the glaucoma is under control. He is a warm and caring person who will spend as much time with you as you require. The down side of this is that you could have some wait time, because as I said, if you have something that be taken care of during your appointment, he will do it then if feasible. But the wait is worth it. I would not have it any other way.

I had to tell Dr. George 3 times what was wrong with me. I literally had green pus pouring out of my eyes (conjunctivitis). He gave me two prescriptions, but mixed up the directions for using them. One was drops to be used for 10 days (antibiotic drops); the other was drops to be used for three weeks. He told me (and put it in writing) to use the antibiotic drops for three to four weeks. Fortunately, I was smarter than the doctor and called his office about the error. No apology for the mistake.
