List of Sage Dental Of Orange City's Reviews
We visited saxon dental for almost a decade and never had any major issues with them. Then it changed to sage dental and all sudden copays were outrageous. We always paid it in the office and received a bill afterwards. ... my insurance has not changed. I accepted it because I didn't mind paying for clean and healthy teeth. Fall last year my child 12, never had any tooth issues) was scheduled for a cleaning and check up ... the cleaning went well and then the dentist walked in and evaluated her. They came and grabbed me to tell me that one of her teeth on the top right needed a sealant because the tooth had a natural disformation which might cause a cavity. This was a loose baby tooth. We were scheduled for the following week and we went. Of course I had to pay before anything had happened. The dentist came in and started his work. Once he was finished and he left, promptly my daughter said "Mommy, I think he worked on the wrong tooth on the wrong side" ... and we had a small talk about it and went on with our day. Two weeks later my daughter had a wiggly baby tooth and it fell out. It was the tooth with the natural growth the dentist wanted seal and promptly it came to my mind "The dentist worked on the wrong tooth". I collected the beautiful baby tooth and went to the dentist to adress the issue. After the office manager finally got the dentist he gave me a story how he named/mixed up the description of the tooth but worked on the correct one with the cavity on the top left. CAVITY on the top left?! This was the first time I heard she had a cavity and the discussion went on - Well his rambling on how he is right and I am wrong. I am very certain he worked on a very healthy tooth which is an adult tooth and we will never return to this office ever again. Just terrible these money hungry corporate offices.
The staff are extremely nice and helpful.
Good cleaning and gave recommendations on better care and which areas.
Same as usual, lady who cleans teeth always nice, but last time I was there no one said a word when I was done, was very annoying
Could I give them less than a 1? My husband and I have been patients of Saxon Dental, now Sage Dental for many years. I picked them out of a book. We were never thrilled with them. There were always different dentists and hygienists every 6 months when we went in. The first problem was that they said my husband needed a crown, that the tooth couldn't be filled. He went for a second opinion to Dr Barry DeGraff in Deland, who promptly filled the tooth in question, never to have a problem again. Then they told me I needed a crown. Again, Dr DeGraff filled it. I never had an emergency that I needed to be seen immediately. I broke my tooth in June, and was in excruciating pain. They didn't get me in for 10 horrifying days, to extract the tooth. I was told that they needed prior approval and they didn't get it but extracted the tooth to help me. True or not, why make a person crying on the phone wait 10 days. In November, my husband was told he had a cavity below the gum line and that they couldn't fill it. It would need a crown. We made the appointment for 2 PM . We were called and asked if we could come in at 11 AM. We said yes. We get there on time, and waited and waited and waited. A little after noon we left, never to return again. We go to Dr DeGraff again, and guess what!!! There is NO DECAY under the gum line or any other place in my husband's mouth. NONE. Looks like someone was trying to make some money off of us. Unbelieveable. Others in the waiting room that last time we were there were also complaining of the wait. One woman told me that someone in the office fixed her tooth, who looked like a kid out of college, and that it was a terrible job and hurts to this day. How can they stay in business? Go to a private dentist, not the corporations who want to make money hand over fist.
My app with Kim was excellent. Kim cares and shi ws compassion when working with her patient. ❤️ I
Good job
Kim is the absolute best dental hygienist that I've ever had!! She truly has a gentle touch... She always makes me feel better about myself in more ways than just having my teeth cleaned... I look forward to seeing her each and every time... As well as Sue out front... She always knows me when I walk in the door... That gives me a warm good feeling!! They treat you as if you were family!! And the dentist is extremely knowledgeable...
Just had a cleaning done, the hygienist, Sarah was wonderful.
The visit was friendly and pleasant.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
