Company is more concerned with hours worked than making sure that their clients are covered.PCA's are allowed to call out, whenever. Company doesn't send anyone temporarily, until they find coverage. It's as if the worker just shrug and say, "sorry, no coverage. You are sh&t out of luck".PCA was asked to go in early, due to call out. Company sent no one else for the day shift. "PCA, going early, so that takes care of that"No one had been with the client all day, 8 hrs, (2 days in a row)Client ended up going to hospital emergency because she had dehydrated due to her high anxiety about being left alone.Caution is a priority

I worked for this company and they are extremely unprofessional. I would go to jobs and another worker would show up 30 minutes later. Also, I would go to jobs myself which included things I was not comfortable doing (I had told the company what I was comfortable with and what I wasn’t) , and they said to do it anyways. This company is extremely unprofessional. Don’t contact this company for your family members l/loved ones unless you want them suffering and dying alone.

Sandcastle was hired to provide in home health care for a paralyzed stroke patient. They were very unreliable. On a weekly basis the aide assigned would call in sick. They were unable to provide consistent scheduling even though they committed to do so. When actually on duty they would not perform work they were supposed (patient neglect). I would highly suggest to skip this company.
