List of Allison Butler's Reviews
Dr Butler has been our family care physician for several years now and she is wonderful. She listens and takes her time with each patient. She is not afraid to use tough love when it’s called for. She will readily send you to whatever specialist she feels you need to make sure you are properly and completely taken care of. She takes especially good care of her Medicare patients. Everyone is well looked after by Dr. Butler, I highly recommend her. And everyone in her Practice is really good too. She is equipped to take care of Blood Draws there in her office, so you don’t have to go off site.
Would give zero stars if I could, I cannot warn you away from the practice strenuously enough. I helped my mom get set up with Medicare and choose Dr. Butler based on positive online reviews at US News and another site. Feel pretty terrible about that decision. First of all, only ever saw a series of PAs. Was told would be scheduled with Dr. Butler and then wasn't. Medication refills not sent after repeated calls, or were incorrect. Last visit with PA (again was assured beforehand would be with Dr. Butler), PA was rude, never physically examined or touched my mother, and did not listen to her own experience about her health. Was told she needed a referral, but no referral was initiated. When my mother gave feedback about that very upsetting interaction, she finally heard from Dr. Butler: to tell her to feel free to find another practice. This when my mother is currently scheduled for major surgery in less than a month. And then to top that off, my mom (after years of vigilance) got COVID. She called immediately about Paxlovid as she's at very high risk and of switching to a new practice takes time. Her calls were never returned: presumably their pettiness extended to putting my mother's life in danger. Again: I cannot warn you away from this practice strenuously enough.
I will say that just because I am not a fan doesn't mean she isn't right for some. I would just recommend doing your research prior to seeing. I read other reviews saying about the time and care taken with each patient, and that I find to be true. What I do have a problem with is the method in which things are handled and how quickly one can be to jump to a conclusion without looking a little deeper into the situation.
Dr. Butler is a rare find! She's independent which means she isn't attached to a hospital or medical network requiring a quota of patients to be seen. This means that she can actually spend time with each patient because she truly cares about her patients. As a result of this, we discovered an underlying medical condition that I've had for many years. Sad to say though that I have seen doctors before who have never spent the time to dig and find out what the cause of the symptoms are. Because she spends time with her patients, the wait is a little longer. But, it's okay by me since I know she treats every patient the same way. I just plan a little longer to be there and it is well worth it.
I’m new to this area and had the same doctor for 18 years in Texas. Coming to a new doctor was very overwhelming to me. When I called to make an appointment the staff scheduled me with a PA without asking me who I wanted to see ones I found out there was no problem scheduling with Dr Butler. I did have to wait 2 hours BUT it was explained to me that they had an emergency and had to send a pt to the ER and that Dr Butler had to get called to the phone because the ER kept calling me. So I didn’t have a problem with it at all because that patient could have been me and knowing she gives that kind of care in an emergency made me feel very good and I didn’t mind waiting. When I ended up seeing her I must say that in my 55 year of life I have never ever had an exam like that before. She sure checked me from head to toe and spend almost one hour with me. I was totally overwhelmed with the grate care I got. The second time I came in to her office I was a work in and waited 5 minutes.
Dr. Butler is a wonderful doctor. This is the only reason I continue coming to this practice. I dread my appointments because I know I will wait 2-2.5 hours. My time is not valued at all. There is never an explanation of why I am waiting; it's as if it's just a given and I should just expect it. I have many other doctors and I never wait like this at any other practice.
She’s been my primary for about three years now . I love how considerate and compassionate she is when talking with her . She’s hilarious as well.
Started seeing Dr. Butler a few years ago and was so happy with my first visit. She was so up beat and very knowledgeable and thought I made a good choice of doctors. The next time I went I waited over 2 hours to finally see someone and it wasn’t Dr. Butler it was the nurse practitioner which was very nice. But you cannot make a patient wait that long without saying something. Well every time I been it is the same thing, waiting at least an hour to see someone. Have only seen Dr. Butler twice in a few years. Time to find a new doctor that is not over booked and can see her patients. I don’t know if the problem is the scheduling department but they need to get things together. I had my daughter going there, but the same thing has happened to her so she is going elsewhere, too. It is a shame because I really liked Dr. Butler, but I work and my time is valuable.
She is very caring and thorough. I prefer nurse practitioner Stephanie for most visits as she seems to understand me best. They are all good and professional people. Up until about 4 months ago, I had a hard time with the office staff, but since they got the other doctors in there, things have greatly improved.
In January 2016 I was an Intern for Dr. Butler's office as a Medical Assistant. Dr. Butler, Dr. Jansen The staff and of course Dr. Butlers father were so very kind to me, very helpful, knowledgeable and taught me alot. To tell you the truth...more than I learned in college! I am very Thankful to them all! I hope they all know that! Its been three years and I still think about them all! I had a very positive experience there and I miss them all!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
