I just got my health insurance with Aetna. I found Dr A. Koe through the Aetna site and set her as my Primary Care Provider after a VERY thorough look into her work history. It looked great, but when it came time to set an appointment the phone number did not work. Aetna only had one number on file and one address. I figured Aetna's info was just out of date so I researched for a new number. Her phone number and address are pasted in over six different sites and they are all the same one. The same non-working number. It was easier just to drop her as my PCP than to actually attempt to hunt this woman down to schedule a doctors appointment. I know it's not completely her fault for the other sites, but I can't fathom as to why she hasn't updated or removed her contact info with Aetna. Used to LOVE this Dr's office. Now there's a wait (but there's that at a LOT of Dr's) and the newer staff is a bunch of hicks! The one gal didn't know how to take a blood pressure ("I'm new at this") and then the other told the Doc that I was there for the flu (I was getting over a cold...) my actual reason was an OB problem, but the Doc told me I'd have to "re-schedule" for an OB problem...wound up at a specialist & then stopped going to the Dr's. Koe.
