New to the Area and I’m so Happy I found Dr Stevenson. She is the Best! She listens to all of my concerns, takes her time with me & I never feel rushed. She is friendly, down to earth, and not judgmental at all. She makes you feel like you are talking to a friend and at ease. Stephanie her MA is awesome as well. Highly recommend Dr Stevenson but not all of the staff. Would’ve given but 5 Stars but I only gave 2 Stars because the blonde woman at the front check in is ALWAYS RUDE, I’ve been here many times and watch her and she picks and chooses who she is nice to. That’s not how it’s supposed to be. Should Be nice to EVERYONE! She has ZERO personality, Not Welcoming or Friendly. I’ve personally complain to the Dr and she said I’m not the only one that has. So Not sure WHY she gets to keep her job when she clearly is only here for a paycheck and doesn’t enjoy it. The other woman that works the front desk is ALWAYS polite, welcoming and friendly. Need another one of her!

The waiting area appears clean and inviting. Dr Stevenson is personable, thorough, listen to questions, answers where I can understand, patient, and has a servitude attitude.

My primary physician retired, so I had to find a new one. After interviewing one who failed to meet my specifications, I saw Dr. Stevenson. She answered my questions. She showed concern and respect for me. She showed willingness to work with me as part of my growing health care team. She did not condescend to me because I'm old. She demonstrated knowledge and the ability to make a discerning and evidence-based diagnosis, or to understand the need to gather more information. She met my standards, which are pretty doggone high, as I am a former registered nurse. My two daughters are also seeing her now, and are pleased with her. Recommended.

Our family's primary care doctor retired recently, and we had to find a new primary care physician. I interviewed one who touted his reputation for mental health as well as physical health practice, but he lost me when he blew off what to me is an important mental health concern, and made an unwarranted assumption about me, based on absolutely no knowledge of me whatsoever. He also had no sense of humor. and seemed the type who would dictate to rather than work with me. I talked to Dr. Stevenson, and have had several visits now, and she has impressed me with her caring, her knowledge, her willingness to work with me, and her sense of humor. That last characteristic is an absolute must for me. Her advice has been sound, and she asks questions instead of making assumptions. I have some knowledge base to evaluate her on these points, as I was a registered nurse years ago. My daughters and my son-in-law are now also seeing Dr. Stevenson, and are eminently satisfied with her.
