took my twins there for the first year of their lives. not only did she scare me in to keeping my babies home and in their room for 2 months but missed diagnosed the baby A's piloric stenosis that I kept telling her he had. and kept telling me I needed to change my eating habits. don't worry about me worry about the twins I will never go back.
This doctor is extremely rude and would not answer any questions I had for her. She only wanted me to answer the questions and basically not speak otherwise. I would recommend finding ANY other doctor before even thinking about making an appointment with her.
My son was a patient of Dr Patel for the first year of his life and she NEVER listened to anything I said, treated me as if I was a child and constantly berated me for my son's size. My son was exclusively breastfed and every time we had an appointment she told me I was giving him too many bottles of formula! True he was in the 97% for height and weight but he was proportionate. We also had concerns about his speech development and his tripping constantly - I was told buy him better shoes and don't let him point at what he wants! The new doctor has him in speech therapy and physical therapy for turned ankles after just one appointment. Had Dr Patel not been the only doctor accepting new patients with our insurance when my son was born I would have definitely gone elsewhere!
Dr Patel seems to give a once over and then you are dismissed. She also tried to throw away my daughter's pacifier when she was about to get shots b/c she felt she needed to get off the paci. She also wears flip flop sandals but has her own designated chair in each office. How can you wear open toed shoes in a medically professional environment but act as if your clients are too dirty to sit in your chair?
When i first called to make the one and only appointment for my child, i explained to the staff that i have a vent patient who is considered a high risk... She reinsured me that it wasn't going to be an issue. When we got there, we were treated nice unill we met the doctor. the doctor was rude to her staff. Didn't even really look at my child. Kept asking me the same questions over and over again and acted like she was sleeping in the chair. She was rude. we were then left in the room with a vent child for over an hour before we walked out. I refused to sit there waiting alone in the building while everyone was out to lunch.
I didn't care for Dr. Patel first because she didn't wash her hands when she came in and didn't have sanitizer in her office that I could see. True my child was sick but the two week old baby she examined after mine wasn't, at least when she came in. I also felt like she HAD to give a perscription and would only talk about giving cold medicine to my three year old. My child may have had a cold but she was complaining about her stomach and she wasn't coughing, sneezing or runny nose. She does like to talk but I'm not going back.
Patel seems to be full of herself. She seems to expect a parent to come in, sit down ask no questions only answer them. If you have any concerns or need a clarification she belittles you. She reminds me of the prehistoric doctors at the turn of the century that think they are the one true knowledge, so don"t question just listen attitude.
loves the staff and dr. patel and thinks that everybody there is very freidly.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
