List of Jeffrey Chesler's Reviews
Very unprofessional. Argues with his staff at very loud volume & the walls in the office are very thin. I could hear his conversations with other patients. Avoid!
This doctor was the worst I ever had , and I have had many in life. He always tried to hurry appointments, never did annual prostate exam, discouraged me from sharing medical symptoms, did not want to listen, talked too much, was occasionally very disrespectful, and occasionally would make you wait over an hour, and once tried to extra-bill my insurance, always abruptly left session without ever saying goodbye. I finally firmly confronted him when after waiting almost 1.5 hours he entered room immediately telling me to shut my medical notebook because he didn’t have time and then other inappropriate comments. He always was in a hurry and seemed to like quick simple patients.
Very knowledgeable and caring. Goes the extra yard for our health care! Staff amazing angels!
This physician is sometimes rude and disrespectful to patients, does not listen or spend time addressing medical problems, prefers brief and simple appointments, and likes to talk a lot to some patients while letting others wait 30-90 minutes. He has also occasionally commented that the patient should go elsewhere if appointment time requires addressing a variety of medical concerns. This physician also leaves sessions abruptly without saying goodbye. During last appointment, this patient waited almost 1.5 hours, and when he entered the room, he began complaining that he did not have time to address medical problems reported to his nurse-assistant, began critizing the patient and telling him to see another doctor, and then abruptly walked out. I have never been treated so unprofessionally by any health care professional.
Had worst experience of any primary physician of any I have had, and I am 69 years old. He does not patiently listen, often wants to keep appt brief, never does a prostate digital exam , and shows frustration and indifference when faced with a variety of chronic and new medical conditions. At my recent appt, he did not want me to explain my symptoms and concerns, told me he didn't have time (after I waited almost 1.5 hours for my scheduled appt), spoke disrespectfully including telling me he could not deal with or "go round and round", etc. He had just spent his previous appt talking for a long time, while I waited. After criticizing me (the patient) and telling me to get another doctor, he walked out of the room. This face-to-face did't last more than 20 minutes. He had shown impatience before, including just leaving the room without a goodbye, but I have never been treated like this by any physician. I currently have some significant new and chronic conditions, and he did not want to even t listen or help. He even told to find my own doctor and neurologist. I currently have a number of referrals and evaluations that are needed, and he just abandoned me, his patient. I didn't make many appointments annually but like any older or ill patient, I had a number of medical conditions requiring his attention. He should not be in practice!
Genuinely cares about his patients. Takes time to explain diagnosis to patients.
Excellent physician with a very genuine interest in the well being of his patients. He is very knowledgeable and very good at explaining to his patients their medical conditions and treatment options.
Dr. Chessler is a very professional and concerned doctor. On occassion my wait time is a little longer but I know it is because he is with a patient. I just remind myself that when my turn comes he will be devoted to my needs and concerns.Would highly recommend him to others (in fact a friend recommended him to me)!
always at least 2hrs late for appointments. visit lasts max of 5 min. then bills for "extended" visit. Treats nothing; just refers to another specialist.
He is the first doctor I have ever visited that will spend plenty of time with you and actually work with you and put you on a plan or track to better health. He is upfront with you and explains everything to you. I am impressed with the fact that he has throughly reviewed your record prior to coming into the room and knows all lab results and changes since your last visit. There are times when you have to wait past your appointment time but his thoroughness is well worth the wait.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
