John Muenz Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Muenz discharged my husband from his care knowing full well my husband would be out of pain medicine and would be in withdrawal. He did not like my husband's demeanor..imagine a patient with a 40 yr chronic pain condition not being happy...Dr. Muenz is a disgrace

Very Unbelievable service never have I once been treated so terribly by a Doctor Who was supposed to be there to help me good bless those who are sent to this man

First, I want to say that the negative reviews here are TRUE. If you have had a similar bad experience with Dr. Muenz, know you are not alone, and it's not your fault. This "doctor" will be very nice at first. But eventually, his true personality come out. I remember sitting in his waiting room listening to patients moan because of the way he treats them. Also, his staff will come here and make good reviews of him just to get more business. Don't be fooled, they are not to be trusted with your care. In my case, I would have rather dropped my medication cold turkey than have ever trusted this man. I am a chronic pain patient with a history of taking my meds properly. I am a professional and an outstanding member of society. I'm female and have been around the block a few times. Without going into detail of the way he treated me, just know you will be much better off without care rather than seeing him. He is a control freak and I think he gets off on controlling the way others feel. Think about this: If you were a psychopath, wouldn't your greatest disguise be as a medical doctor? I believe J. Muenz has had this thought, and he followed thru. If you discover a loved one has been seen by him, keep an eye on them because he can & will drive someone to suicide. Doctors like this should be in jail.

I am new to Florida and in need of a pain management doctor down here. I picked Muenz because of location. I have been taking pain meds for 6 years and have my prescriptions dialed in. In my first visit muenz switched what had been working for me and put me on new meds. I expressed concern but complied. He asked to see me a week later to check on the meds. I was happy to report I was doing ok on the new meds and I needed prescription to get an X-ray for my knees so he could give me an injection. He said he would see me in 3 weeks and would do it then. I sighed because each visit there costs me out of pocket... I’m a special education teacher and don’t make a lot of money... and asked if I could get the Xrays before the next visit and that way I can get my injections during the next visit. He yelled at me... a professional adult... saying sighing isn’t appropriate and if I don’t like how he does business he doesn’t have to prescribe me pain meds. I was in utter shock that he would threaten to withhold pain meds from someone in need and refuse to work with someone on a tight budget and get mad when that person innocently sighs because he is concerned about money. Complete jerk.

This doctor has been the most caring compassionate doctor I have ever come across. He has helped save my child’s life in the most caring compassionate and Christian manner I could have ever dreamed for. I cannot say enough good things about this doctor. He cares, listens, and treats his patients with so much respect. Thank you Dr. Muenz from the bottom of my heart!!!

My original doctor passed away and I was switched from doctor to doctor.i was talked down to treated with no respect,baker acted for no reason. Switched off my original meds that I’ve been taking for a year and some longer to other meds for no reason. Having allergic reactions and am still breastfeeding could harm my child and yet still told , take this meds or your kicked out of-program abruptly . I have a young baby and need this type of program and meds at this time in my life. What they are doing is wrong!isn't this illegal?

Dr Muenz is a very conscious Dr. He spends more time with a patient than any other pain management Dr. that I have ever met or heard of. He thinks about what he wants to do & how to do so safely. He has a very understanding but safe method for pain control & for dependency issues. With his guidance & help, I have gone from over medicated to working on being tolerated pain patient without being so “drugged up”. I really appreciate a doctor who doesn’t have you see a PA every time you want to see a doctor. I’m very glad that I’ve found him.

This man was a complete JERK. ANTI-PAIN MEDS, HE DID NOT SPEND 30 SECONDS WITH ME BEFORE TREATING ME LIKE A DRUG-SEEKER. HE WAS AWFUL. AWFUL!

Can't be trusted!!!

I was in misery just moved herr from new york i could not find a doctor who would treat me with care,courtesy,and concern until i met with Dr.Muenz you wont find a finer doctor and gentleman than Dr.Muenz in jacksonville.
