List of Lauren Hassan's Reviews
Dr Hassan has been a godsend in helping me get my Type II diabetes under control. In 6 months she has help me get from insulin dependent on a pump to almost off insulin.
She was incredibly friendly and engaged with me answering all of my questions. Her recommendations were clear and very helpful. We discussed all of my medications and made changes that actually made sense and worked. If you need an endocrinologist, seek her out.
Waited 4 months to see her which wasn't the end of the world, but a little annoying. Unfortunately on the day of my appointment, I was called a few hours before the appointment time and was told that the doc would be out of the office for the day, so I would have to reschedule. I let them know that I had been waiting for 4 months and wanted to know the earliest available appointment time so that I could try to plan around it. The gentleman then told me that he did not handle scheduling issues and that the scheduling department would contact me shortly. It's been 2 weeks and I still have not received a call.
Wish I could give a negative star. I had 2 appointments with Lauren J. Hassan Nelson, DO. Both times they switched them to telehealth she did not see me in person ever. No actual exam never laid hands on me. All she did was order labs and an ultrasound. I had a cancerous TDC removed for which all tests including biopsy were benign/negative. My labs were always normal. I was seeing her in regards to my actual thyroid her answer was all your tests are fine you’re the only patient I have seen with this case in my career you’re fine see you in a year. I had a second opinion and guess what I was not fine there was also cancer in my thyroid. Stay away if you want actual patient care or even to be seen and examined in person before making a life changing decision.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
