Maria Antonio-Miranda's Online Review Report Card

I have been seeing Dr. Miranda for 7 years now. I have never waited less than 1 hour and even closer to 2 in her lobby for my scheduled appointments with her. I always wait no less than 20 minutes in the exam room and frequently closer to 30 minutes for her to come in to see me. She does seem to be a knowledgeable doctor but that does not excuse this behavior. One time I waited 2 hours in her lobby and she wasn't even in the office and I wasn't informed of it until my daughter asked for me to be rescheduled. I suffer from severe copd. recently I 've had a very bad cough that has been excessive and ongoing for 4 weeks. I even went to the er for it. then I saw dr. miranda. she gave me prednisone and an antibiotic and ordered a cat scan of my lungs. 1 1/2 weeks later my cough was no better. over the course of the next 1 1/2 weeks my daughter called dr. miranda 5 times on my behalf and explained my situation. no one ever called back. my daughter went to the office to try and get me help. she got excuses. there is absolutely no reason good exought that someone could not have called back within a week!

In speaking to Dr Miranda I know now that the insurance has guidelines that she must follow. I could not finish the test due to pain therefore the insurance wouldn't pay

My appointment was at 3:00 PM, but by 4:45 I still hadn’t been seen by the doctor. I asked for a refund on my co-pay, and left. Before leaving, the receptionist asked me to stay; she said, “The doctor has 5 more minutes with the current patient, then one more patient, and then you.” Had I stayed, I might still be there waiting.

Best Pulmonary doctor I have had. I have been with her for a good number of years. She has found problems on my lungs even before my oncologist. She is a very caring and thoughtful doctor. I would and have recommended her to my family and best friends.

Don't waste your time with this Doctor's office. Her office staff is the worst. They don't send paperwork for x-rays, sleep studies or to get machines. Each time we had to call office after 2 weeks of nothing.

I have found her to be a very caring, careful doctor. She has worked with me with the asthma I have had and found the medication that keeps it under control.

Diagnostic and treatment has been very effective

her bedside manner has scared me for life. she was in a rush, she listen to me with one ear.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the follow up care for my father Richard Sullivan. We've heard nothing from Dr. Miranda since he came home on 7/1/17 and he is now back in the hospital with Sepsis. I am so pissed off and unfortunately I live 3 hours south. Dr. Miranda, please go see my father and make sure he's being taken care of properly and answer all of our questions.
