Our daughter developed IIH and debilitating headaches post covid. After literally years of going around in circles with a variety of other doctors, a friend of ours who is colleague of Dr. H sent us to him. He reviewed her history and imaging, sat down and talked to us extensively about possible options and came up w a methodical plan to assess the situation and move forward. Dr Horowitz is confident and decisive, but not arrogant - but he IS matter of fact, focused, and zooms back and forth between clinic and OR as he is extremely willing to fit people in between surgeries and such in order to see them sooner. If you want someone to hold your hand and sing kumbaya with you, he is not your doctor. If you don't ask him if he has a moment to answer a couple of questions he will assume you do not have any, but he always took the time to answer ours when we asked him to do so. This is a doctor who clearly LOVES what he does and wants to help people. He gave our daughter a life again.

Very delightful office ,the doctor was very polite and helpful in explaining the results of my test. He spent time with me and listened to the questions I had for him. He Answered the questions in a very understandable manner.

Doctor Horowitz saved my girl!! She suffered with Trigenimal Neuralgia that no one knew anything about. We’ve had doctors look me dead in my face and say “I’m sorry, this is above my pay grade! There is too much unknown, I can’t help you”. When we found Dr. Horowitz it was the miracle we had prayed for for YEARS! He was able to perform a decompression surgery promptly that took away ALL of her pain. His nurse, Alissia also went above and beyond to make this happen. From days fighting with insurance companies, negotiating with hospitals and constant communication with me-she got it done!! We went from a future of fear and panic… the fear of “she can’t live like this forever”… to looking forward to the future. We are forever grateful for this man and his staff!

Dr Horowitz is an amazing doctor. He is a genius in his field. He stented and coiled a non ruptured brain aneurysm for my wife. He did the procedure for us when he was at the University of Pittsburg Medical Center. He went out of his way to receive us from Florida and not only that...he did the operation at a different hospital where they took our insurance to help us out. He was kind, personable, and is not only a Neurosurgeon of the highest caliber but also a Neurointerventionalist. I was ecstatic when I saw that he had moved to Florida. I researched doctors from all over the country before I settled on Dr Horowitz. He did the procedure 12 years ago and my wife is perfect. I don't understand the other few ratings for Dr Horowitz here on Google. If you read his curriculum vitae you would want this surgeon!
