I just had cataract surgery from Dr. Patel. My wife and I have been patients for a few years now and the care, the competence and compassion we’ve seen is just the very best. My procedure was surprisingly simple and successful. No real discomfort throughout the entire process. I could see later the same day and my vision continued to improve through the last two days. I see without my glasses now and this is day three. The experience begins with a friendly and caring staff. They make an appointment around your available time frame and are very accommodating. Every staff member at this practice seems absolutely hand-picked. When you meet Dr. Patel, it’s clear that he is caring, compassionate and profoundly talented. He makes you feel like you are the most important patient he has. His experience and reputation make him always in high demand, yet he is humble and you get the feel, he’s a Dr., Surgeon and healthcare professional you can trust. His operations manager, Beatriz Luciano, is comfortable to talk to and she explains what is going on and what to expect with your procedure. She has never been rushed with us and my wife and I both appreciate the kindness and caring she’s shown us. The staff in general is friendly, professional, and has never been rude or rushed with us. I appreciate Dr. Patel and his staff beyond words. Thank you and your staff and the related facility you did my procedure in. Highly recommend Lake Nona Ophthalmology
