List of Adventhealth Medical Group Neurology At Innovation Tower's Reviews
This was my first visit with Dr. Mitesh Lotia, and it was truly a great experience from beginning to end. My first impression was that the waiting room was well-spaced, comfortable, and welcoming. The front desk staff were friendly and personable, and I had the pleasure of interacting with Lourdes during check-in and check-out. It was evident that the staff works well together. They were organized, efficient, and kept things moving. I arrived early and was seen at my appointed time which I truly appreciated. Ashley greeted me and took my vitals. She was engaging, compassionate, and professional. I then met with Felecia, who gathered additional medical background information. I truly appreciated her active listening, thoroughness, and pleasant manner. She made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Lotia exceeded my expectations. He is absolutely fabulous! I appreciated his in-depth knowledge, sensitivity, and guidance, which made me feel like a valued patient. I also must say that he has an incredible sense of humor, which I truly appreciated. Life and health challenges can come with ups and downs, but when you have a specialist like Dr. Lotia who not only listens and provides excellent care, but also brings a sense of ease, kindness, and a smile into the room, it makes a meaningful difference. Dr. Lotia is the kind of physician you hope to find when seeking specialized care. I highly recommend Dr. Lotia if you are seeking a neurologist.
Tried to get an appointment for my mother. I sent the referral, filled out the paperwork and sent her medical records. Had to do this before they would even make an appointment. Did my part in two days. Spoke to someone and they said it would take two weeks before someone looks at the paperwork and then calls me to make an appointment. Aren't you a huge hospital Advent Health? Poor customer service. Would not recommend Advent Health for much in the way of their Neurology Department.
Super kind and caring. PA and staff very educated, caring and informative
This group oversaw my mother's care in Orlando. She's complicated with many medical issues. They provided a provider from each specialty while she was hospitalized. The continuity of her care was amazing. Her medication was reviewed by each provider making sure they were okay for her medical problems. Physical therapy was a great help also.
Waited 1 year for an appointment with a neurologist. Was on site on time for my appointment - even got a notification from the AdventHealth app saying "we see you're here based on your location" but between parking and waiting for elevators I was 5 minutes late in arriving to the office. Was told I had to reschedule since I was late. The next available appointment? April. It will be 1 year 4 months since I originally tried to make an appointment to when I will be seen by a neurologist. Completely unacceptable, especially from an institution as large as AdventHealth.
I can't say enough great things about AdventHealth care. The doctors, nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, their office staff, etc. are the most amazing and caring people! My husband and I are always treated with so much kindness and they truly care about their patients wellbeing. I highly recommend anyone and everyone to use the services of AdventHealth!
I used to see Dr. Jerath. She was fantastic. Knowledgeable, efficient, and very good bedside manners. Since she left and the opening of the location at the Innovation Tower, my experience at this clinic, with doctors(?) and staff, including the office manager (if there’s one?) have been terrible. I’ve an appointment with my doctor (will keep anonymous here) in early December. I received a call from the scheduling team wanting to change my appointment because the doctor is unavailable. Yeah great, when can you reschedule me with my doctor or another doctor. Nobody is currently available until next year. Ok soonest my doctor? March 2026!!! Completely unacceptable and not something I’ve come to expect from AdventHealth. Most of my specialists are at AdventHealth and I’ve only had such an issue at THIS INSTITUTE! Something is terribly wrong at this AdventHealth specialty. Reading other reviews, I’m not the only one facing similar issues. I hope problems at this institute get seriously investigated and corrected. I’d like to still be treated by AdventHealth neurologists, but for now I’m looking somewhere else. I do NOT TRUST this institute at this point. Unfortunately. P.S.: I requested a call from a nurse at this clinic and I’ve never received one.
There’s been a dramatic shift in quality of care at this practice within the last year. I had a brilliant and caring physician here (Dr. Jerath), who unfortunately left the practice last year. I spoke with the office and was told Dr. Ullah would be taking over Dr. Jerath’s patients and specifically mentioned my rare disease when asking for an appointment with Dr. Ullah. After waiting over 8 months, confirming my appointment multiple times via phone and patient portal, and flying from Atlanta to Orlando, my appointment was cancelled with less than 24 hours notice…as I sat in a hotel. Dr. Ullah reportedly cancelled this appointment herself as she does not treat patients with my condition. Why this was done with such little notice was completely unexplained. The whole situation seemed baffling and professionally negligent.
These people do not care about helping you. They will take your money knowing they cannot help you and then turn you away. I have a rare condition that my GP referred me here for. Unfortunately, my insurance wouldn't cover the appointment because I hadn't met my yearly deductible, so I had to pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket just for 1 appointment. I've paid enormous amount of money out of pocket for visits with other doctors in the past only to be told they couldn't help me and I didn't want a repeat of that experience. So, I called the office in advance of my appointment to confirm that the doctor had experience with my specific condition. During the first call (two weeks before my appointment), they said they would pass my question along. During the second call a week later, they told me they hadn't done so but would get right on it. During the third call, they said "this is a headache doctor" which is 1)obvious and 2)did not answer my question about my specific condition. During the fourth call, they repeated "this is a headache doctor" as if it were new information. By then, I was beyond pissed off but I need help so I persisted. During the fifth call (the day before my appointment), they admitted that they never had any intention of asking the doctor anything, that questions only ever go to the referral team, and that they didn't care how much I had to pay out of pocket. I would still have to pay someone $300+ just to potentially hear them say "Thanks for the cash but I can't do anything for you." I hope they all lose their jobs.
My visit with Dr. Dharani Mudugal (Innovation Tower location) on 8/14 was profoundly disappointing. After waiting 8 months for this appointment, because I was told she specifically manages my condition, I was told at the visit that she does not handle my concern and was then referred to a neurosurgeon. No patient should have to wait so long for an appointment only to be told nothing can be done, then be referred to a neurosurgeon outside of AdventHealth, who, upon seeing me, questioned why I was even there. He explained that he only treats patients in need of surgery and that I should instead be under the care of a neurologist. He ultimately provided me a referral to his wife, who is a neurologist. This left me feeling dismissed, confused, and without proper direction for my care. For the past 3 weeks I have been calling the office, leaving three messages for the office manager, Nancy, requesting that my chart be moved to another provider. Despite my repeated calls, I have received no reply and continue to get the runaround. This lack of communication is unacceptable. I am asking not only for someone in leadership to personally contact me, but also for AdventHealth to review how patients are managed at this office. No one should have to spend nearly a year being bounced between providers without answers. Patients deserve timely care, transparency, and compassion. Right now, I am left in limbo with my care, and all I want is to see a neurologist who truly listens, understands my symptoms, and can provide a proper diagnosis and management. I hope sharing this experience will spark change so that no other patient has to go through the same exhausting process. It’s sad to say, but please take these reviews seriously if you are considering care with this specialist group at the Innovation Tower, they reflect true patient experiences. I did not want to have to take this to a public review but I'm not only advocating for myself but for all those that will have the same experience if changes are not made.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
