List of Alan Christensen's Reviews
Dr. Christensen is a consummate professional. I have never been treated as “just” a patient by him. He is personable, caring and passionate about his patients. I will continue to go to him and highly recommend him to anyone if they want the best treatment possible.
Terrible doctor, misdiagnosed me. Stay away, he is extremely rude with horrible bedside manners too.
Dr. Christensen Is a true professional. Worked on my hand and discussed every option and answered every question. When working to repair my hand he has great rapport to talk you through procedure and put you at ease. Great results and great doctor —highly recommend.
I have gone to Orlando orthopedic previously and I have had two surgeries as well as physical therapy through them each with two separate doctors. Each time myexperience was wonderful so when I injured my wrist I did not hesitate to make an appointment with them. Dr. Christensen was the one available to take my appointment after I was seen in the ER. I waited over an hour past my appointment time before he came in the office. When he did arrive he was extremely dismissive, condescending and overall rude about my condition, the results, and needing “orthopedic grade images which is a disc” which the ER did not provide me. He left me in a temporary splint that the ER placed on my broken wrist and told me to come back in a week. He could not be bothered to even look at my injury. I wound up going to another practice that actually put me in a permanent cast and actually cared about my injury and well-being. I felt like I was wasting his time.
I saw him several years ago and when I recently got a new condition was pleased to be able to see him again.
I have never dealt with a doctor so unconcerned with treating someone with dignity, honesty, integrity and respect. There was no empathy whatsoever or the ability to seek first to understand before being understood. He was rude, disrespectful and very comfortable bantering back-and-forth about anything and everything. He suggested a certain course of action and when I agreed but said I would still like some sort of pain relief with a Cortizone shot he said well we can’t take the other course of action for another 60 days I said that’s fine I just need some pain relief. He then refused to let me schedule the appointments he had directed for 60 days later because I got the shot. He wanted to see me again before he would schedule the MRI, tests etc. He was short, rude and disrespectful all the way to the end. I have never had an experience like that before. There’s so much more detail but a lack of characters to explain. I would never interact with this doctor for my health needs again.
Very caring and personal concern Comforting. capable!
Dr. Christensen was incredibly nice and took the time to listen to my concerns . I have the utmost faith in him !
I was given the same medicine and advice years ago and it didn't solve the problems.
Very kind, organized and he staff and surgical staff were great. I would definitely recommend him

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
